EMBARK ON A VONDOR ADVENTURE

Jon is a homeschooled, military brat that grew up in a Fundamental Baptist home alongside 5 younger siblings and 2 awesome parents.

He attended several colleges, travelled the US, and a few other places in the world through life and military service which served to increased his knowledge in many ways due to his autodidact nature and polymath disposition. The variety of places Jon has grown up in, the huge amount of knowledge he has gained, and the many experiences he has lived first hand cultivated his ability to create this massive Speculative Fiction series (with the majority of the novels' contents being that of hard science fiction & high fantasy) centered around the super powered character known as Lord Daniel Vondor. 

 

Daniel's story began to be put to paper back in 2002 when Jon was still a teenager. Vivid dreams of Daniel inspired Jon and bloomed within his vivid imagination to become the early writings he would submit for homework in his Junior year. Jon's High School literature teacher, (Rosy Dow) also a published author, read and encouraged Jon's first few chapters telling Jon that he "had something". More ideas and further inspiration came in many forms (other books, movies, TV shows, and all kinds of life situations and events) over the next several years until 2017 when Jon finally felt ready and sat down to completely write out and world build the first three novels of the Lord Vondor Series. He also began the query process and search for either a book agent or a publisher in this same year in the fall. By December 2024, Jon was contacted by email from the editor in chief of Sheltering Tree Media and soon after signed a contract for the first book.

Jon is currently continuing his world building of the Lord Vondor Omniverse with many books and other related items in the works.
