A full Character Synopsis (Mild Spoilers for series)
Daniel Erik Vondor is the full name of the main protagonist of the LORD VONDOR Series and he is also an extreme top level official of the massive Intergalactic Empire organization; having only one other person outranking him.
Daniel is a 563 year old Zerith Human male (at the start if the book series) originally from the home world of the Intergalactic Empire - Zerith or Great Earth - where humans live much longer than they do on Earth. This world resides in a very distant galaxy and is also home to 30 other alien species that are best described as animal human hybrids in appearance as their bodies and fur most resemble animals that are familiar to humans generally. But the Empire is made up of many thousands more aliens of all kinds who have all willingly joined together to form this giant intergalactic Space Empire. But there are plenty of humans to go around among this mix too. Book 2’s Prologue explains the why’s of this all in detail; a sort of in-universe historical perspective. By the beginning of Book 1, the Empire has made its way out to Earth as they are currently in the process of annexing the entire Milky Way Galaxy.
But back to Daniel – a bit of heavy SERIES spoiler background info is necessary to understand him and his predicament as he finds himself in book 1. And much of this will get revealed in points of exposition of flashbacks throughout the currently planned 17 novel series.
And hence a greatly summarized Zerith leader history lesson is in order:
Daniel Vondor is one of those Zerithites who was born with magic in him (called by the Empire - Zerith Leaders; as in the past it was assumed all such magic folk MUST lead the people according to a traditional interpretation of the writing on the tower of the Creator found on Zerith). One out of every 1,000 Zerith born souls acquire this ability to varying degrees among both the humans and animal hybrid types. Their magic really comes out by the age of 15 when, at the same time, an alternate dimension dwelling Celestial being (also known as an angel) will appear and offer their training ability and guidance to said power possessing Zerith teen. The magic or power ability is measured in scales of 1 – 10 generally speaking. Though some few in Empirial history have reached, through much concentrated effort and training, to levels of 11 or 12. Level 1’s are like H.P Wizards while level 10’s are like DBZ/DBS Goku Super Saiyan God Blue in addition to possessing loads of magic allowing them to theoretically handle fighting MCU Odin, Ego, or a Gauntlet wielding Thanos with relative ease. But level 10’s and up represent less than a few hundred of the many millions of magic wielding Zerithite leaders who have ever lived and currently live and operate within the Empire. This magic is broad in ability and scope. With it one can affect, alter, or spawn any matter or energy within their range. Higher level leaders can even manipulate time and space to a degree.

Daniel is one of these few born with a high level from birth, though it is not known by others just how powerful he is at first. But in his original teenage training, Daniel’s Celestial guide reveals to him that he has a higher than normal concentration of power as he is born at a level above 10 and is one of several in the universe chosen as a possible candidate by the Galactic Archons (Universal Spirit Guardians) to rise up and one day take that same position of ultimate authority over a portion of the mortal multiverse as one of its highest level guardians as the time of the 16th Archon's dispensation was soon ending and Daniel was one of those who could possibly rise up to take the place as one of the 17th generational Archons and lead it if and when he was fully ready to do so.
Daniel is encouraged to be discerning in who he tells these details once this is reveled to him, as he is warned that others who share his level of power within his universe – may try and remove him as a competing candidate for the Archon position as only 7 may be chosen each generation and if a powerful chosen mortal dies, another contingent will be chosen in their place from their Universe. And that mortal, just as would happen to Daniel should he take up the mantle, would then be blessed with immortality and all celestial knowledge and wisdom necessary to take on their new role once they were proven ready to assume the role. Higher power was not simply given; it was earned in mortal life, thus Daniel – though blessed with higher powers at birth – must grow and build upon this to attain an even higher level of skill and power which he then must safeguard (in a manner of speaking) so as to arrive at the time appointed when he shall take on his role as multiversal Archon as was desired by the 16th Universal Archon Council.
Long story short: Daniel returned to Zerith at the end of his teenage magic training and told no one initially of what all his Celestial trainer had revealed to him on this matter. But he was quickly recognized by his family and friends as a ridiculously powerful magic wielder in spite of his not revealing his level 13 status by the end of training (and yes – that is what his Celestial guardian said he was currently capable of).
It is not many months later when all see that Dan is one of those few 100 alive at the time who was powerful enough that they could manipulate time and space. He was quickly being recognized as the strongest of the Zerithite Wizards; a mage of mages and soon enough, a great hero of Zerith.
Daniel also learned that he possesses the unheard of ability to share his magic with anyone permanently. Only five other Zerith magicians could do this in recorded Zerith history. Dan also learned that he had the ability to access and even create alternate dimensions of space for his own personal use; a feat unheard of. All of these great abilities of his were recognized eventually by a certain Zerith government leader who befriended and eventually had Daniel made into one of his second in Command Lieutenants. Thus, in this position Daniel rose in rank and prestige as this national leader would eventually found the Empire which first spread planet wide before also spreading space-ward after a global alien invasion (which is only fended off because of Zerith’s powerful magic wielding protectors such as Daniel) left a number of said alien craft in the early Empire’s possession and also perpetrated a harrowing and traumatic experience for the people of Zerith who survived the attack and from that point on wished to extinguish all such threats from their region of the universe.
Thus the Intergalactic Empire got its start and Daniel Vondor soon after became a Lord of Zerith and the right hand man of the First Intergalactic High Emperor.
