A multiverse is normally a set of all parallel universes in a series. A universe is an entire gargantuan family of galaxies within a plane of existence where normal mortals live out a life under the over-watch of a resident hierarchy of celestial beings and gods. Each galaxy posses hundreds of thousands of star systems that can host millions of worlds or planets collectively. Each star system can host one or several inhibited planets than can host millions and sometimes billions of inhabitants. So the Earth is a part of the Solar or Terran star system which is small a part of the Milky Way Galaxy which is a tiny part of our home Universe which is just one of the countless parallel Universes in our Multiverse which is part of near countless multiverses making up the Omniverse.
