The INTERGALACTIC EMPIRE an exploration of a super space entity.

Updated: 5 days ago

The INTERGALACTIC EMPIRE is a huge entity. Likely one of the largest ever conceived by sentient beings within mortal realms. The Empire hosts 56,000 galaxies at the start of book 1. Within these galaxies are 148 million 876 thousand 703 known and documented sentient home worlds; most with their own unique alien culture and or cultures. Only 14 of these Emperial galaxies are completely mapped. All others are under active exploration efforts and planetary expeditions though some worlds and star systems are also under siege where military action was necessary. If that number of home sentient worlds seems small then consider that there are a further 7 billion 392 million 156 thousand 453 known inhabited worlds under full Emperial control as well. Over 78 thousand of these inhabited worlds hosts humans as their primary settlers and or inhabitants; most being in the Terran Prime (Milky Way) Galaxy or the other core Emperial Galaxies. There are a great number of other humanoid species that are similarly prolific in the worlds they inhabit and colonize within the Empire. The Empire boasts many hundreds of thousands of alien sentient beings. But of course, with 56 thousand galaxies under their influence, there are many billions more worlds that are waiting to be colonized or are under surveys for this very purpose. Remember that each large galaxy hosts more than 300,000 sentient worlds with another 3 billion that are likely suitable for colonization and - of course - some 30 billion or so more that have resources ready to be collected. And the Empire takes care, as much as possible, to not destroy worlds or environments if they do not have to. Of all the myriad worlds they have conquered and control the empire has only had to completely strip mine 55 planets with only 2 of them being rendered uninhabitable so far. And only 3 other worlds were completely destroyed by super weapons in the 300 plus years that the Empire has been around.

The Intergalactic Space Empire was first formed under the leader of the then Korzan Empire of Zerith; John Randall and his second in Command, Daniel Vondor in the Zerith year 3882 which would be equivalent to our Earth or Terran year 1638. The Planet Zerith, also known as Great Earth, is a human home world (whose humans descend from Earth; a story spelled out in later Vondor series books) that is also home to 29 other humanoid beings. These are the various animal humanoids we would recognize as looking like cat or bear or tiger humanoid beings. They are all bipedal and do not have tails but all have five fingered hands and five toed feet and are very much human like in body shape though they sport the full body fur and head designs we Terrans would recognize as being like our Earth based animals. Even the turtle humanoids have shells though these are an example of a humanoid that hails from another planet and not Zerith.

In the Zerith year 3881, a large and hostile alien fleet came to and attacked Zerith and devastated in people and lands. Some entire species of animal humanoids were entirely wiped out. It was a vey harrowing day in their history. Zerith only survived because super powered mages or wizards like Lord Vondor were present and able to lead a successful defense and defeat of these aliens. This event triggered a global effort to build up and create a massive military organization that could protect Zerith and any other world that wanted protection from any future alien invasions. By the year 3882 the then Korzan Empire under command or Emperor John Randall began to move on out into space with their newly retrofitted and captured space ships. In the following years the Korzan Empire would grow and begin to spread its influence. With its super powered space wizards (Like Daniel) and its ever growing military and economic might, the Korzan Empire soon became a galactic presence.

By the year 3885 the Empire was beginning to colonize and explore its neighboring galaxies and so a great convention was called. Other Empirial leaders alongside Emperor Randall and Lord Vondor gathered to come up with and organize what would become the Intergalactic Empire. An constitution was written and laws formulated and soon a grand coronation was prepared as the first great Intergalactic Vote was carried out. Though Daniel received a good forty percent of the vote, John Randall was the easy winner of this first great election. Later this same year High Emperor John Randall is coronated the first leader of this new Intergalactic Empire and Lord Vondor becomes the Intergalactic High Grand Duke by appointment. Over the next several hundred years the empire would grow under the leadership of John and Daniel. Because Zerith humans live much longer than typical modern Terrans their influence was similarly long lasting. The average human and humanoid from Zerith live to be 240 years old at least. And those with magic can extent their lives and those of their family and friends for centuries longer. Daniel Vondor, for instance is a 500 plus year old human by the time High Emperor John dies and his daughter is coronated in Zerith year 4239 as the next High Emperor; High Empress Elizabeth Randall. She won this honor after receiving nearly 61 percent of the Empirial vote. Lord Vondor did not run for this election content to remain in his Grand Duke post.

On the political and cultural side of things, the Intergalactic Empire is a massive Monarchial headed Republic of joined planets or star systems who mainly utilize the Empire to safeguard their worlds through its giant military; seek justice through its efficient and thorough legal system; or enjoy the benefits of the exceedingly huge economic opportunity the empire provides with its many interconnected worlds and commercial markets. Most Emperial worlds enjoy a very high standard of living and great personal and economic freedom. Those worlds that don't enjoy this within the Empire are either under some antiquated government system that has been allowed to prevail due to some local circumstance of politics or because that world or nations of a given world are in armed rebellion against the Empire as is the case with Terra or Earth at the start of book 1; Daniel Escapes: the Prisoner; in the Zerith year 4283 which is Earth year 2042.

But on worlds where the Empire's law and economy reign, all people who are Emperial Citizens of any class enjoy their lives and seek to thrive in whatever endeavors

or occupations suit them best. Most live very meaningful and fulfilled lives doing what they love and enjoying the abundance of peace and prosperity. Most everyone has the access and means to travel wherever they wish and set up a life on whichever Empirial world or space station that suits them best. Its not utopia but likely as near any sentient in the mortal realm can get to such an ideal society. Those who wish to serve in the Emperial military are readily taken in and trained and allowed to travel all over the Empire during their service. Thus the Empire maintains a completely volunteer military.

Crime is rare but still occurs within the Empire because all mortals are prone to error and emotional states of extreme and personal vice no matter how good their standard of living or superiority of government. Also some cultures and ways of doing local government generate drama and political intrigue and corruption by default. Though the overall Emperial head is a Monarchial Republic, the many vast amounts of worlds beneath their domain exercise their local governments in all manner of other ways. Some governments are better than others. Most all are some form of Monarchy, Oligarchy, a Republic, Tribal forms or some form of Democracy. But none are free from evil and sin. Thankfully the Empire's strong and just law system prevails upon the vices of the people and encourages a highly moral and civil society.

Some Emperial worlds are more agrarian and rural while others host massive planet spanning urban colossus and giant atmosphere reaching towers of cityscape. Some worlds are entirely covered in pristine nature while others are a mass of artificial stone and steel. Some people choose to live in massive roving space stations while others build their metropolises underground. Some people like the crowds and thousands of neighbors while others want the country side and little to no neighbors within a mile of them. The Intergalactic Empire is as diverse as it is ginormous. The variety of cultures and lifestyles and people within it are plenty. Its military and economic might are unparalleled in its home universe and it even boasts some of the most powerful magicians or mages ever to walk mortal worlds. Most people are born normal mundane folk with average skills and basic intelligence. But others are born with super intelligence and or on worlds where magic abounds and super powers are the rule of genetics. Such is Zerith. Within the Empire, truly, superheroes (and some would argue gods) walk among mortal men. Many say, though he has always denied such claims, that Lord Daniel Vondor is one of these resident gods. His epic powers have certainly made him legendary over the centuries; no one who knows him denies this fact. He is often called by admirers, the god of the Empire. But Daniel hates hearing this insisting that only the one Almighty CREATOR is the Empire's GOD. But if Daniel is in fact a god being, thankfully he is one of those very good and charitable god like beings. His kindness and compassion seemingly know no bounds.

The great gold and white bird harkens back to an extremely rare raptor of Zerith and is representative of the military might that sweeps through and rules the Empire; the space lights it flies between showing this dynamic. The circles specifically represent the planets and the star represent the various suns of the galaxy through which the might of the Empire flies.
