About Jonathan Carmona's Theology
The creator, writer, and moderator of this web site.
The following is a Dissertation of exactly what I believe theologically as a person for those who care to know. The following statements are accurate and true as best I know how to communicate.
JONATHAN R. CARMONA’s
FULL Statement of Theology:
~ Also know as a WORLDVIEW or a
Statement of FAITH
Salvation: I believe that the Salvation of the soul of Man, because of his inherited sin nature, is accomplished by the grace and work of GOD. On the human’s end it is accomplished solely through faith which is a full and complete mental trust placed in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ as described in the holy Scriptures. (John 3:16, Romans 3-5, Ephesians 1:13, 2:8) Salvation cannot be attained by works of any kind as it is impossible for sinful man to fulfill, on his own, the requirements of the absolute perfection GOD demands in order to join Him in the afterlife; a place which we call Heaven. Anything that is even one iota less than absolute sinless perfection cannot bear to exist in the presence of GOD. (Romans 3:23, Titus 3:5, Eph.2:9) Also, I do not believe salvation of the soul can come through any deity other than the GOD of the Bible as He alone is the ONE ABOVE ALL: the Almighty GOD of Gods and LORD of Lords and the only One capable of making the way for us sinful mortals into His eternal Realms. And for us of the race of Adam; this way of salvation is only found through The Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross. (John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12, I Corinthians 15:1-11, John 5:24). I further believe that, once a person receives salvation from Almighty GOD, it is impossible for them to lose it, because GOD is the active agent once we chose Him and say yes to His salvation. It is His work that saves us; it is not incumbent of us to do or keep our salvation. A family relationship with GOD is permanent, though sin can interfere with and even cut off our fellowship with the Almighty. But a fellowship can be mended; no sin is greater than GOD’s redeeming power. (Romans 8:31-39) Therefore I believe in the Eternal Security of the Believer. (John 3:16, 10:27-30; I Cor. 15:22, Eph. 1:4-5, 18-23, 2:5-10; Colossians 2:6-10-15; Hebrews 9:11-15, 10:10; I Peter 1:5, etc.) I also believe people have to make the choice to get saved; GOD does not choose for them. People are not saved by any default circumstance with one definite exception – all children (or those with childlike minds; i.e. including those with mental retardation) who die before the age of accountability automatically go to heaven. And that age may actually be 20 as that is when GOD held people accountable for their decisions back in the O.T. book of Numbers after they failed to enter the Promised Land. (Numbers 14:29) Otherwise, for all mature and mentally cognizant human beings, salvation is a personal choice. (II Samuel 12:23, Isaiah 7:16, Mark 10:14, Matthew 18:3, Romans 5:18-19, John 3:16-18 & 9:41)
GOD will not interfere with our Free Will. Instead, He obviously expects us to exercise said will just as He gave freely to Adam and Eve to do from the beginning. (Joshua 24:15, Deuteronomy 30:19-20, Proverbs 16:9, Mark 8:34, John 7:17, I Corinthians 10:13, II Corinthians 9:7, Galatians 5:13, II Peter 3:9, Revelation 3:20, 22:17). And in a further special note concerning my beliefs on children and mental handicapped entering heaven by default, I also count the many thousands of personal accounts of those who have gone to heaven and been sent back (Near Death Experiences) as powerful first hand eye witness evidence of this fact too. According to these, when you apply an objective first hand scientific method approach to evaluating them, among other things - the realms of GOD are filled with children because of high child mortality rates throughout history and in third world countries, to include the modern horrendous practice of abortion. It is also of note that Paul boasts of knowing such a man who had an NDE. (II Corinthians 12:1-7)
Baptism: I believe Baptism is the first step of obedience and one of only a few ordinances given for Believers to partake in/perform as a religious ceremony. But Baptism is NOT required for salvation as that would arguably make it a WORK. Scriptures appear to teach that Baptism is only to be performed by those that have already been saved; and consider the thief on the Cross.
Instead, according to the Bible, Baptism should be the first step of obedience after salvation. I believe baptism should only be done by immersion only or be as close to immersion as is possible for a Believer to attain – given their individual circumstances – and due to its picture of death, burial, and resurrection like unto the examples given in Scripture. I reject infant baptism and baptism by sprinkling as useless man-made compromises and vain as infants are not yet pass the age of accountability and can’t chose to be saved or follow, of their own accord, any succeeding religious ordinances. Baptism should be performed by at least a spiritual mentor and preferably by a Pastor with a Church congregation to witness the act as one of the points of the ritual is to show others that you are identifying with Christ. But this act does not have to be performed by a Pastor nor among witnesses if it is not possible to do so as the Bible gives no such directive. Logically a single mature Christian mentor is sufficient witness; consider Phillip and the Ethiopian Eunuch. (Romans 6:1-11, Acts 8:36-39, I Corinthians 1:17, Colossians 2:12)
The Bible: I believe the King James Bible is God's inerrant, complete, and perfect Word of GOD for all English speaking people as it is verbally and plenarily inspired and Preserved by GOD Himself as He moved through men of GOD of old to write, record, and then translate His Words for all mankind originally in the Masoretic Text in Hebrew and Aramaic (Old Testament) and in the Koine Greek language (New Testament) in the Received, Majority, or Antiochian Text and that GOD had His Words faithfully, formally, and directly translated into a higher and older form of my mother tongue of English by the King James Translator Team of 1611 with its final edition coming out in 1769. This, the Word of GOD, is my final authority for all matters of Faith, Spirituality, and Theology. (Psalm 12:6-7, I Thessalonians 2:13, II Timothy 3:15-17, Hebrews 1:1, I Peter 1:22-25, II Peter 1:16-21)
With one exception, I believe all modern versions of the English Bible are perversions of God's Word as they use the wrong text (Alexandrian, Minority, or Eclectic Text) that does not come from the historical line of preserved texts handed down through the various churches and Christians of Europe, Asia, and Africa since the 1st century. Also, these “new” texts arise out of an inferior form of translation; Dynamic Equivalency, which does not translate word for word. It is also of note that the KJV is the only English Bible with no copyright on it. The one modern translation exception is the King James 21st Century Edition which is a slightly more modernized English version updating the original King James Version and NOT referencing the Eclectic Text at all in its updating, thus it does not omit any of the key word omissions that the Eclectic Text versions are brazenly guilty of removing or altering.
But my specific views towards other’s use of the modern versions (or perversions) is this: GOD can use any Bible (or anything for that matter) to help people see His truth. He is not at all limited in this manner as He is almighty and all-knowing. And this is also because, logically, even though the words in modern Bibles have been watered down and, in some cases – altered completely or even omitted altogether in these various English versions - the truth of GOD can still shine through the veils that men and Satan and his minions have created. GOD is not limited by His own creation. He can and does use ALL things to work His will. Thus – man can still discover GOD’s truths, including salvation, through almost any Bible version. But for in depth study and personal meditation, nothing compares to the King James Bible for English speaking people as it is the very inerrant Words of GOD persevered for us today, in a still superior form of English, to read and study each and every word within.(Matthew 5:18, Psalm 12:6)
Important Note: For the record, I do not look down on or judge any other Christian or Bible theologian who studies or uses an alternate Bible version as being lesser or inferior. Each person can only make their own choices based on the information they have available to them at the moment of choosing. I fault no one for ignorance; I am ignorant of MUCH in life still. But a new Bible version reader/studier is no less a Christian or a believer just because of the Bible version they use. The above is merely MY personal opinions on the Bible translation issue, though it is based on the best information that I have been able to research thus far in life. So do not read this and assume I would think less of you just because you use or love an English Bible other than the KJV; I do not. You are just as wonderful and lovely a person no matter which Bible you do or do not read. This is just me laying out the details of my belief for those theological nerds and curious types who wish to know.

For the record, I do believe we desperately need a modern English version created as no current translation or edition outside the KJV had been made using the Received or Majority Text since the 1600’s (or mid 1760's if you are technical about the last time the KJV was updated). All modern English translations or versions so far have utilized the inferior Eclectic text in their work and so propagate various translation errors and some bad theology as a result. But plenty of bad theology exists because of the limitations of modern man trying to grasp the meaning of Elizabethan English as well.
Because of my beliefs about the Bible, I therefore also strongly believe that every historically documented event within is factual history with the authentic real life record of historical ancient peoples occurring and having been recorded for our benefit. Therefore the Bible is the MOST accurate history book on Earth and the ONLY accurate and firsthand account of the Creation of the Earth. Though there are only a few mentions of science within, obviously every scientific note in the Bible is scientifically accurate even if we don’t recognize said fact about science right away as GOD is the creator of all such science. For example; it took humans a long time to figure out that electricity could carry our words in it; but it does and the Bible hinted at this in: (Job 38:35) An even better example is the Earth’s water cycle. Science did not realize this till relatively recently even though the Bible spelled it out rather clearly for thousands of years. (Ecclesiastes 1:7, 11:3; Amos 9:6). And there is also the now obvious fact that life is in the blood as is mentioned in: (Leviticus 17:11)
But beyond this, thanks to my own thorough studies, I’m aware of a powerfully huge list of scientific, archaeological, philosophical, and logical evidences [More on this at the end of this Essay] for the Bible to be exactly what it says it is: The very Words of GOD preserved for us today in our languages to read and study for ourselves. I have not seen all existing evidence of course, but what I have seen has convicted me on my beliefs. In fact, the empirical evidence and abundant proof I have come across demonstrates the Bible to be powerfully authenticated, standing alone as the MOST verified piece of literature in history, and thus the most superior religious text. Therefore, it is blatantly obvious to me that the Bible has to have been written by a supernatural being that exists beyond space and time; and what other being fits that description better than the one described within; the One Who Himself claims to be responsible for the book: The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob – JEHOVAH or YAHWEH – the Great I AM, the Ancient of Days; the ONE Above All Else: THE GREAT CREATOR GOD
I like to sum up my trust in the Bible with this statement: I chose to believe the Bible because it’s an extremely reliable collection of historical documents written by eye witnesses during the life time of other eye witnesses who report to us supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies and claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.
The Godhead and nature of God: I believe that GOD is one Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient Being Who reveals Himself in Three persons. Thus He is one GOD and One Being while also being 3 Persons or 3 Beings. GOD is a super entity Who is Self-Existing beyond time and space which He sovereignly created. It is impossible for us finite and small humans to fully comprehend the existence of the CREATOR. So while GOD is One, GOD is also comprised of three persons: the Father, the Son (The Lord Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:13-17, Mark 1:9-12, Luke 3:21, 22, John 1:1-18,I Corinthians 8:4-6, I John 5:7) His unique nature allows this apparent contradiction though it should be noted that this only contradicts man’s scientific and logical understanding and not GOD’s. GOD’s ways are above man’s ways and His understanding is naturally FAR above anything we could possibly conceive or perceive in our current limited, finite, and mortal forms. No other being is like GOD. (Job 36:5-33, 37, 38:3-41, 39, 40:6-24, 41, 42:1-6;Psalm 103-107, Ecclesiastes 3:14, Isaiah 55:8-9) I believe the Lord Jesus Christ is both God in the flesh and the Son of God. He was born of the virgin Mary in the Judean town of Bethlehem in 2 B.C., descendant of King David, fulfilling over 300 prophecies in His three decades plus life and earthly ministry. I also believe that Jesus has existed for all eternity (along with the Father and Holy Spirit) and has always been the Son of GOD and God Almighty at the same time. Jesus and the FATHER are ONE. The scripture is abundantly clear that the Father sent the Son to atone for the sins of the world and Jesus repeatedly claimed that the Father was greater than Him. But Jesus also claimed to be present at Creation, existing before Abraham, and obviously present on Earth in the time of the Messiah in fulfillment of scriptural prophecy and in order to complete GOD’s work of redemption for all mankind and the Father multiple times attested to Jesus’s perfection by telling all who were witness to these things that He was WELL PLEASED with Jesus. (Isaiah 53:10; Matthew 3:16-17, 17:1-5; Mark 9:1-7; Luke 3:22, 9:28-35; John 1:32, 33) Thus Jesus is mankind’s salvation, the Perfect Spotless Lamb of GOD, as He is the only human who lived in sinless perfection and could thus fulfill GOD’s requirements for the full atonement for all sins and the complete redemption of all mankind. (Micah 5:2, Matthew 16:16, John 3:13-18, 6:68-69, 10:24-40; Acts 8:37, II Corinthians 5:21, Colossians 1:19-22, I Thessalonians 1:10, I Timothy 2:4, Hebrews 1:2, I Peter 1:19-20, 2:21-25; 1 John 1:7, 2:1-2, 4:10, 14)
BEGIN CONTROVERSIAL SUBJECT(S) BELIEFS: In the following paragraphs I lay out very INDEPENDENT specific beliefs in certain areas than is atypical for a traditional Independent Fundamental Baptist [or IFB] person, but all are Bible based as best I know how. I more or less push against MAN’S TRADITIONAL TEACHINGS (Matthew 15:9, Mark 7:7-13, Acts 5:29) in favor of a more objective, contextually based, literal, historical, and grammatical interpretation of select passages as opposed to just going along with what my church and seminary leadership has assumed was true for these last few centuries. I have no problem questioning all beliefs I have been told to believe. I know that I must prove them myself. (I Timothy 2:15, Acts 17:11, I John 4)
But I fully realize this will put me at odds with most all contemporary IFB Pastors, Seminary Professors, Theologians and Sunday School Teachers as they are ingrained in TRADITION and don’t even realize it. But I honestly do not care. I must ultimately answer to GOD one day and not them. Though I will respect any office, the God given authority, and always hear what they have to say; THUS SAITH THE LORD will always trump their words. Therefore I follow the teachings of Jesus here: Mark 7:7-13 and Acts 5:29. It does not matter how long an INCORRECT teaching has been taught. If it’s not Biblical, it’s not for me. I am not afraid to chart my own path. Some may call me a Rebel, a Liberal, or a Compromiser but that is Ok – I’ll live. Labels can certainly be incorrect. I’m sure (as an example) our American Founding Fathers were called worse things than this and history has proven them heroes. Perhaps one day I will achieve even a small measure of such honor.

End Times: In light of my awareness of the trends and flow of the last 200 years of American Christianity, I feel I can presently do no better than to reject the modern, trendy, and so called fundamental “doctrines” of Dispensationalism, Immanency of Christ’s Return, and the Rapture of the Church before the Great Tribulation as they are relatively new “doctrines” that are not objectively grounded in Scripture, but are instead a strange interpretation of the Words of GOD; mental gymnastics if you will.
And before I go on, I would pause here to point out; don’t fall for the mentally lazy position of claiming, “Oh this guy is just being an arrogant prat!” This could not be farther from the truth. Just like any other Baptist, if I feel I am grounded in the Bible with my beliefs, I will say so; but I will also just as strongly do the opposite – namely – if I find a so called doctrine not actually grounded in Scripture, then I will reject it just as strongly. It’s not arrogance; it’s just plain and simple conviction; the same as you have. And sure – I could definitely be wrong – but I am not trying to be. I am sincerely trying to rightly divide the Word of GOD with the help of the Holy Spirit. But I am yet a humble and limited human being; I cannot see or understand even a tenth of all things – nor can any other mortal human being. I can only do the best I can with what I know or can prove and reason to be true.
I believe, based on historical research, that Dispensationalism was created in the late 1800’s and – as it is currently taught in modern Christian Seminaries and most churches – is not Biblical; Christ will NOT return at any moment – His coming is NOT imminent but predetermined by the Father at some future point yet to come; and the rapture event will occur along with Christ’s Second Coming at the end of the age. The Scriptures that did clearly say the End was near seem to have already been fulfilled back in the first century; which would make those Scriptures very literal. (Matthew 24:34, Revelation 1:1) Therefore, in another departure from traditional modern Christianity, I see the entire Olivet Discourse (Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21) and Daniel’s 70 weeks (Daniel 9:24-27) as being entirely fulfilled by 70 A.D. with the desolation of Jerusalem and all the surrounding world events to include some that took place across the Roman Empire with even some specific events occurring to the city of Rome.(Revelation 17:10) I also see that some of the prophecies of Revelations may have also already been fulfilled by 70 A.D. as well as in a few other points in history since then. And I do not believe that Revelations was penned in 90 AD as is popularly taught. Only one single historical source [Irenaeus] “appears” to say this of John while all other authentic historical witnesses place the writing of the Book of Revelations by John in 55 – 64 A.D.
But I can see that some of Revelations may very well be fulfilled in future events still yet to come; it is at least a possibility that this could even be a double fulfillment situation. Therefore I am a Partial-Preterist in my current Eschatological views. And in the END, when the Great Tribulation begins and the LORD returns, I lean heavily towards the Post-Trib, Pre-Wrath point of view concerning the Rapture, Tribulation, and 2nd Coming as I still believe prophecies such as the Millennial Reign of Christ, the Final Resurrection, and the New Heavens and New Earth are most likely yet to come.
But I am very open to Post-Millennial (and even Amillenial) interpretations of these prophetic passages as I have definitely heard powerful Bible based messages and lectures that spell out how they (that particular teacher) may view end times in whatever view they espouse backed by sound scriptural evidence. Certain verses seem to make clear sense within these divergent views.
But I realize that all such things must be taken with “a grain of salt” and I also am aware that I may have been taught incorrectly as this set of doctrines has never actually been a Biblically settled matter (contrary to what most religious leaders say from the pulpits) among ANY Christian’s groups, even going back as far as the first few centuries after Christ left. As we know from II Thessalonians, even back then the saints were confused about when the Resurrection and End Times would occur though they did seem to take the Scriptures literally and believed it to be soon; very close to their time. The specific beliefs of how End Times will play out and how Revelations and other Bible Prophecies will or have already been fulfilled has as many interpretations as there are Christian Denominations if not more so.
Thus I do not yet know for sure who has the absolute truth on End Times save GOD Himself. It is of note here that I grew up (from ages 5 – 25) being taught a fairly narrow minded (because we supposedly had the ONLY correct interpretation of scripture) eschatological view, which is usually called a Pre-Millennial, Pre-Tribulational, Secret Rapture of the Church view; but this end times view (or some variation of it) is extremely popular among all Evangelical Christian denominations today and is what I believed for almost the first 2 full decades of my Christian life. When I then began exploring other points of view in order to DISPROVE THEM, I began to discover that they had Biblical validity sometimes far better than my original view had. I also began to see (objectively) that my Pre-Millennial, Pre-Trib view required more mental gymnastics that the others; allot more. So it was then that I began to back off of holding such a traditional IFB view.
I am much more open now to any Biblical interpretations (or hermeneutics) that are MORE grammatically, historically, and LITERALLY based. But I am only open to allegory in places where scripture tells us that such is the way to interpret said passages. But as this applies to most prophetic passages – therein lies the rub and the reason for why Christendom can’t all settle on a unified belief the way we can on all the beliefs already listed in this writing up till this point. It’s as if GOD has coded the secrets of eschatology in such a way that only those truly guided by the Spirit of GOD would or could ever understand them. Unfortunately, most religious leaders – both in history and in modern times – are not led by the Spirit. Far too many are led by their own pride (or Ego) or by the almighty lord of the contemporary church – TRADITION. Tradition and complacency are demons that plague modern fundamental Christianity to a high degree and is very sad to see. I wish I had the power to set my denomination (and all of Christendom) free of these demons. But GOD has seen fit to let each person and each church do as they see fit; be it right or wrong. See the following Chart to the right for a basic views comparison of the top 7 most prevalent Evangelistic Christian Eschatology perspectives; click the image to see it better:
But above all said so far I am assured of at least these few things concerning Eschatology at the very least [And I think that all Bible Believers would agree to]:
-
GOD is sovereign and will do His will as He sees fit no matter how we interpret things with this one exception; He will take into account our choices of free will where He has said He will do so as some prophetic declarations do have an either or consequence to them; in other words they are conditional.
-
Jesus Christ will return in the END and has already come for each and every individual believer at their death as He promised since day one and so will come for me at my death too. But those who are alive at His final return will of course experience the rapture event as they go up to meet Him in the clouds as described in scripture.
-
At the end of all things will be the LAST DAY where the 2nd Resurrection of GOD will occur and where GOD will judge ALL; both the living and the dead – often called the Great White Throne Judgment. It is the LAST Judgment where sinners and the disobedient (including Satan) will be cast into the Lake of Fire forever.
-
At the END also, GOD will remake the Earth and Heavens, affected by sin and the curse, whole and perfect again – a final restoration – and thus include it all in His Eternal heavenly Realm from that point on where we will live and rule and THRIVE forever more with HIM in our New Heavens and Earth.

Israel: I believe that the Israelites were God's chosen people under the Old Covenant (Gen.12:1-3). However, under the New Covenant, the Church/Christians/Believers take precedence and have now taken on the preeminent role of Abraham’s Seed or Spiritual Israel and now receive the Blessings in full (Jeremiah 18, Matthew 21:33-45, 23, Rom 2:17-29, 9-11, Galatians 3:6-29, 4:21-31, the entire book of Hebrews, and I Pet 2:6-10). Spiritual Israel has replaced physical Israel in the full blessings originally promised and given to God’s chosen nation. So I suppose this means I accept Replacement Theology. But I make this important distinction: physical Israel today, may still receive some of God’s blessings according to certain permanent and conditional proclamations of GOD. But they are no longer fully blessed and protected just because they are Jews by name or ethnicity – not like they once did for the simple reason that any modern Jew who rejects The LORD Jesus Christ as his Savior is in rebellion to GOD. And the Jews have paid for their rebellious choices ever since that fateful day in Jerusalem on April 3rd of 33 A.D. when they released Barabbas over Jesus, and had Jesus crucified. History has shown since how the Jews have been kicked out of nation after nation and have received incredible amounts of concentrated hate and persecution from the world ever since they have rejected their Messiah. There is much historical documentation to back up this claim.
To be fair, all who are associated with GOD, the Lord Jesus Christ, and His Word receive persecution and the Bible promises such to all followers of GOD anyways. (John 16:33, Romans 8:31-39, 12:12) But for an Israelite to retain that original blessed position they must today (or since Christ’s Resurrection) become a Believer in Christ themselves or they are no different than the unbelieving world in most respects. Ethnic Israelites and religious Jews today still need their Messiah just as much as any Gentile does. It is a great shame that most modern Jews reject their true Messiah and look for another to their own hurt and damnation. Thus the Israel of GOD today is a Spiritual People and not a physical or ethnic people. But I do believe that GOD still loves His ethnic Israel and is working with them and blessing all nations who help and protect them as has been evident in recent history (especially since 1948).
There is also the open ended promise in Deuteronomy 4:24-31 to consider. But also of note here, is that GOD does seem to have been consistently good (or has at least dealt better) with the Sephardic Jews who still believe in and honor the Old Testament alone as their guide for religion and practice of faith. Their lot in history has never been as harsh as has been that of the Talmudic Jews, who follow the traditions of the Sanhedrin called the Talmud which is spiritually based on the Babylonian Kabala. In modern times, the vast majority of modern Jews today are ruled by the Great Sanhedrin in Jerusalem and are guided by said Talmud which is NOT Biblical in its teachings but is very much Anti-Christ in belief and theology.
The Church: The Church is built on Christ and His teachings and Christ and His HOLY SPIRIT are the active agents behind its growth, power, and influence. The Church is made up of ALL believers in Christ and His Word. (Matt. 16:16, 18; 1 Cor. 1:2, 10:4; II Corinthians 1:1, Ephesians 1:19-23, 5:22-30) The simple definition of “church” is an assembled congregation of baptized Believers ~ or Ecclesia (Psalm 22:22, I Corinthians 1:2, Heb 2:12) and its purpose is to minister to the Saints and Evangelize the lost. Though this is largely given out to the global or universal Church as a whole in these passages, it is only logical that bodies of believers join together in local assemblies in order to effectively fulfill these commands (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 2:42, Galatians 1:2, Ephesians 2:11-22, I Thessalonians 5:11, I Timothy 3:15, James 5:14) I believe all believers make up the body and bride of Christ and are in a sense, a single church, a body, or a universal congregation. (Ephesians 4:1-6, 5:22-30) But I also believe groups or institutions such as the Roman Catholics have high-jacked this truth to fit their man made theology, thus frightening off most other Christians from using this Biblical term. I believe the system God created is most likely the local style, or an independent church group style and that such a local congregation must be autonomous with a Pastor (A Biblical Bishop) leading the flock though I am open to churches who have a group of Pastors leading as apparently seems to be happening in Acts 6:1-7, Acts 20:17-28, and Philippians 1:1. But passages in Acts, II Timothy and Titus all seem to give easy to understand and usually straightforward guidelines for what or how a single Pastor, Elder, Deacon, or Biblical Bishop is supposed to behave himself in and among the church; though it is of note that the Bible never says a congregation MUST have only one single Pastor, nor that he is to lead the church in the way modern Pastors are expected to lead their community organizations as religious businesses. The guidelines are spiritual only but most modern Pastors – at least from what I have seen within the IFB – don’t treat the instructions that way. They act as if the Bible somehow gives them a blank check to direct or command whatever they please of their congregation. It’s wrong and is an abuse of the Pastoral office. Thank GOD most Pastors of this sort only take it too far in certain areas. It’s rare that a Baptist Pastor acts like a Pope and tries to control every facet of his congregation’s lives… but it does sadly happen from time to time.
I furthermore believe that the church is the primary institution whereby the spreading of the gospel is to be organized out of, though I am not opposed to extra-church organizations assisting in this work because the Bible is not. With a few exceptions, the directives of the New Testament and the Great Commission are never specifically given to any one individual local church anyways. Instead they are obviously given out to the Church as a Whole – as a universal body. So obviously any Christian can be moved of God to act and perform for the church without actually doing so through or under direct authority of a particular local church as some insist must occur. Every born again believer is already by default a member of God’s universal church and under Christ; the Chief Shepherd. The Bible just does not give us this kind of specific direction of local church control of all Christian ministries and the bottom line is that GOD obviously calls certain people out to found and lead these organizations and they obviously do much great work for the Kingdom of GOD here on Earth and greatly help in the spreading of the gospel and in supporting the saints and missionaries often OUTSIDE of any specific local church authority though they usually have no problem allying with or teaming up with any churches that wish to be fellow laborers. As mentioned already, some will argue that all of these organizations are “un-Biblical” if they are not under the authority of a specific local church. But, again, this is not specifically addressed in scripture and so tends towards Pharisaicalism and Legalism for those who push this belief as some fundamentalists seem to do.
GOD obviously works in both individuals and in groups; the preeminent specific group being the local church. But GOD does and can guide through an individual, a local church, or in a broader sense – the entire universal Church body as He sees fit. Does not the fruit of these ministries speak volumes? Sure, it does not hurt one iota for these religious organizations to work with or be under a local churches’ authority – but they do not HAVE to be as they are already under Christ! GOD can and still does lead them as they are. To many church leaders want to usurp the authority of Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Again – if GOD leads a man or woman or a group to found a religious organization outside of the church – then that is GOD’s business and not ours. We should just support the good work as we are able to and be sure to do our part in our local church as we see the opportunities arise. But if a Christian does not feel comfortable working with or supporting that ministry for personal conviction reasons, then they are free to move on as well. Every God fearing person has the sovereign right to make their own choices based on their own personal convictions and beliefs. (Romans 14:12, 13, 18-21)
My Christian Background and WHO I identify with:
I am proud to call myself an Independent Baptist especially considering their powerful and long standing history and faithfulness to the Word of GOD. Their line of believers starts with the Apostles and goes through groups like the Paulicians and Montanists and moves on through the centuries long lasting Waldensians; some of whom begin to be called Pedo-Baptists or Anabaptists by the early Catholics alongside many other parallel Bible Believing groups. These Remnant Christians and Anabaptist would eventually spread their influence to Britain where they would begin to be called simply Baptists by both Protestants and Catholics and were unfortunately often hated and persecuted by both main line Christian sects in many historical instances.
From Britain these fled religious persecution for a new life in what would eventually become the largely Baptist populated colonies of Rhode Island, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania in America – and the rest, as they say, is history. The Modern Independent Fundamental Baptist (IFB) Christian movement traces its roots from this ancient Baptist line as do a number of other fundamental and evangelical denominations such as Mennonites, Amish, Pentecostals, Adventists, Church of God, Church of Christ, Evangelicals, etc. We are not Catholic or Protestant but of the remnant of believers that have always striven to use the Scriptures as our Sole Authority for our faith and practice.

My parents became Baptists when they were witnessed to, got saved, and joined a Baptist church in Plattsburg, New York in the early 1980’s at a certain Bible Baptist Church where they also got married. Later they would move to Cocoa Beach, Florida where I would be born; their home churches there were First Baptist Church and then Melbourne Baptist Church. But the first church I remember attending as a kid was that of Misawa Baptist Church in Northern Japan where we lived at the time due to my Dad’s military service. The next church we attended for a good 6 years was Temple Baptist Church of Lacey, Washington which is still going strong to this day under the same now veteran pastor.
In this church I understood my need of salvation during a Sunday school class taught by a Gary Yow around the age of 6 and accepted the Lord as my Savior (lead by a SS Assistant and that private school’s principle named Mr. Pontius) and soon after got baptized by Pastor Mike Kinney. I have since grown up almost solely attending like-minded Independent, Fundamental, Baptist Churches where they sing the old hymns and preach and teach from a King James Bible, often powerfully from the pulpit to this very day. I personally did not really strongly identify as a strong Baptist myself until years later (by the age of about 25) when I was old enough to both seriously question, scrutinize and then verify my beliefs and get sound doctrinal guidance which I specifically received at that time from Pastor Terri H. Moore of Capital Baptist Church in Dover, Delaware. He helped me to understand the Creation Science background of Genesis by pointing me towards the teachings of Dr. Kent Hovind. Then Pastor Moore himself, with help from other pastors and historical experts Jeffery Faggart and James Beller, instilled in me knowledge our often neglected and forgotten Baptist Church History, especially as it developed here in America.
Thus, by the age of 30, I was grounded in my Baptist beliefs and had answered almost all of my questions concerning our faith, the Bible’s history, and related doctrinal supporting material. All 12 of my home churches – where I faithfully attended Sunday morning and night services, Wednesday Bible studies, prayer meetings, and almost all other special services for 4 or more months from the years 1990 – 2023 – have been: IFB, KJV preaching, old hymn loving, soul winning, Pre-Millennial, Pre-Tribulational teaching churches as well. And there is not a single one of the Baptist Distinctives that I really disagree with hence my liking of and sticking with the Baptist denomination.
I realize that many of my generation and those past lack an understanding of their denomination’s history and thus may not feel as strongly about who they are and why they believe as they do. Some believers don’t like being labeled Christian unfortunately. Ignorance is definitely one of our societies’ great modern enemies which is very ironic considering how easy it is to get good-sourced information these days thanks to the internet. Though I suppose most don’t know HOW to vet information so there is that fact too. We, in modern times, most definitely live in an age when information freely flows to and fro and yet so many seem to know so much less than our recent ancestors did. But I have noticed how each denomination has expertise on various specific issues and summarily has failings in almost as unique issues as well.
This said, I do not look my nose down on other denominations as is a common problem in the modern the IFB movement. Instead I see them as brethren; fellow members of Christendom. (Matthew 12:30, Mark 9:40, Luke 9:50) You can tell fellow believers by their fruit. Unfortunately, Most Baptists Pastors that I have sat under have been (and still are) notorious about talking bad concerning other denominations, pastors, and even other IFB organizations or churches if they do not line up nearly 100% with that Pastor’s views. I do not think that is at all Biblical since we are all supposed to be one body. (Psalm 133:1, John 13:35, Romans 12:10, 14:19, I Corinthians 1:10, Galatians 3:28, Ephesians 4:1-6, Colossians 3:12-15) I strongly dislike how “camps” form around certain preachers and Bible colleges. But this is not a new thing. It even happened in the early church era: “I am of Paul; I am of Apollos!” (I Corinthians 3:4) The history of human nature shows that it is more or less a human trait to want to follow and rally around strong leadership. GOD seems to have built us that way. But because IFB’s leaders do tend to take separation and standards way too far at times, (I now fully believe that WE fundamentalists ARE the modern Pharisees of the Religious world) I can thus sympathize with many in my generation who are leaving the organized churches as well as sympathize with past generations who left off and founded the Non-denominational and the New Evangelical type churches this last century. I also believe there is something to be said for the covenant/replacement theology and Preterits beliefs common amongst Reformed and Protestant circles. They have Biblical standing if you take the time to objectively asses many of their beliefs. Besides my research into these denominations, I have personally been close friends with Mennonites and independent minded Mormons over the years. I also see truths taught among certain independent Seventh Day Adventist churches, Presbyterian teachers, Pentecostal or Holiness preachers, and Messianic Jews that are very Biblical and normally not talked about by the typical IFB preacher’s preaching, teaching, or even personal studies. I don’t think most Baptist pastors realize how closely our beliefs align as they so often will warn against listening to anyone outside the IFB box; a dangerous cult like and very narrow minded approach to Christianity.
I will follow the Bible which does not teach such segregation. The warnings against false teachers are rather specific and it is only too easy these days to study and verify who is a false teacher or a wolf in sheep’s clothing; at least I have not found it too hard so far. Thus I am personally not afraid to listen to ANY good teacher as I know how to discern truth from them and “spit out the bones”. Every single Baptist Pastor I have ever heard has misspoken and stated wrong things from the pulpit, sometimes powerfully so. Just because a preacher shouts with conviction, does not make him right. The same goes for any other denominational preacher. Many great Christian leaders can and have been sincerely WRONG! So one should always listen with discernment and not fear to hear what any man or woman has to say or teach even if they are of your own denomination. You can learn truths from anybody; we are only human after all.
The wisdom of Proverbs speaks loudly here: listening to someone with a very unique and diverging point of view can both help you fine tune and bolster your own beliefs or it can give you a completely new perspective on a topic you are studying or a doctrine you could not before then grasp. But it does require a certain mental mindset and fortitude; not every believer is able to listen to other teachers and not allow themselves to be drawn away by false doctrine. (Hebrews 5:14) Some require a diet of the milk of the Word before they can take in the bread and meat. (I Peter 2:2) GOD did not make us all alike, though we do as humans and Christians in general, share many common traits. But listening is a skill that MUST be developed more. GOD did, after all, give us two ears and only one mouth.
The Believer’s Role in the World: I believe a Bible Believer’s purposes in life is to bring glory to GOD in all that we do, be ready to preach the gospel to everyone that we can, including being careful in how we live out our lives as it is a testimony to others, (the only “Bible” the lost may ever read) and thus must live the Godliest life possible, avoiding sin as much as possible while not going overboard in our zeal of implementing personal preferences and Biblical principles as the Pharisees did and thus making our good seem evil. (Ecclesiastes 9:10, 12:13-14; Romans 12:1-2, I Corinthians 10:31-33, II Corinthians 6:1-10, 8:21, Ephesians, 6:10-20; Col.1:10, 3:23, 4:5-6; I Timothy 4:6-16, 5, 6; II Timothy 2:15, Titus 2:1-10)
My personal standards:
The purpose of personal standards is to be a good testimony to others within the context of our contemporary society. We as Christians are a witness for Christ; Ambassadors if you will. Therefore I definitely believe that my standards should be backed by clear scripture teaching and shouldn't be stricter than the scriptures indicate as that is what the Pharisees were guilty of doing. This is one of the biggest failings of my IFB movement; being legalistic about stringent rules when we are supposed to use grace, longsuffering, and love as guides for our interactions as opposed to the strictness of Pharisees. Nowhere in the Bible are we told that we must have a higher standard than what GOD has laid out for us. Each individual free will being has the ability to choose how they will live. These personal choices are often termed personal preferences, but they should be made with common sense and decency in mind. We want to portray a good image of Christ towards all others and be a good friend and encourager to our brethren as much as is possible. Discernment and Consideration are two keys in how we should live and act in this context. It is also important to be approachable for witnessing purposes. (John 13:35, Romans 12:9-21, 14, 15:1-13, I Corinthians 6:12, 8:9, 10:23, 29; II Corinthians 6:3, 13:11; Galatians 5:16-26, 6:1-5; Philippians 2:3, 4:13; Colossians 3:12-15; I Peter 3:8)
I see life’s choices divided into these three categories:
-
Personal Preferences – Everything not covered by GOD’s Law or His principles; things that are up to us entirely and possibly only indirectly referenced in scripture. Preferences are all the small and mundane things or those items of seeming little consequence but which can still be indicators of one’s overall character qualities. Some of these can be the weights which so easily beset us if we let them.
-
Principles of Creation; Laws of Nature – Those things that work best if you follow the principle guidelines found in nature or in the Scriptures but are not necessarily sin if you do choose to do otherwise in most cases. You simply have to endure a rougher trail in life, or endure various resulting consequences if you ignore said principles. But in some cases, not following God’s principles will make you more prone to fall into sin in the future. So the wise make good use of God’s Principles in all aspects of life as best they can.
-
GOD’s Universal Precepts; the Royal Law – You have to follow these or you will be in sin. And the breaking of GOD’s Law will eventually lead you to death. It is the first breaking of this Law by Adam and Eve that brought all of mankind and Creation under sin and the curse. The breaking of these always has dire consequences in both this life and the next.
MORE personal STANDARDS: I do not believe that simply drinking alcohol is sinful as I cannot find even one single verse that teaches this for the Christian Church member. According to the scripture on this topic, being drunk is the clear sin repeatedly warned against. Only Israeli Kings and priests were specifically forbidden to drink strong drink altogether. (Leviticus 10:9, Proverbs 31:4) Even Pastors are simply warned to not be drunk, given over to drinking, and to be sober. All Christians are admonished to remain sober generally. But though I have this Biblical understanding of still being free to drink strong drink, I strongly favor and practice abstinence myself. Thus I am of the personal conviction that I will not ever put any strong drink to my lips ever. I have no desire to acquire that taste nor have its vile liquid destroy my body. I have no need to find out how much it will take to make me drunk; that is foolishness in my book. And just because I can do a thing does not mean that I should do it. (Proverbs 20:1, Romans 14:21, I Corinthians 10:23-33, Ephesians 5:18, Titus 1:7, 2:3)
I feel the same way about most all substances that are considered drugs; I have no desire to try them nor ever plan to do so nor would I want to hang with someone who does. I do not know that partaking in all of them is sin necessarily, but I see the wisdom in staying clear of them; abstinence again is appropriate here. We should take good care of the body as it is God’s temple. (I Corinthians 6:19) I think smoking is disgusting and unhealthy and I personally classify it with drugs.
Though I have no problem with the government legalizing drugs, I should state. That is actually a whole different issue that most modern day Christian Fundamentalists get wrong because they lack understanding of the subject. For example; Marijuana is a natural plant that GOD did intend for us to use for medicinal purposes; though I would highly recommend taking only the Hemp oil over smoking a joint. I should also mention that I feel the same about chewing tobacco and Tattoos. (I Corinthians 6:19-20) I am very Libertarian or Classically Liberal minded in these areas because I honestly believe this is the best position to take. Once again I don’t care about so called “old fashioned” beliefs or standards if they are WRONG. Old Fashioned traditions are only good if they match with actual Scriptural teachings. I want to do what pleases my Lord Jesus Christ over top of whatever might please my fundamental Baptist brethren.
I do not believe tattoos are sinful because the Bible does not say they are. It specifically tells ISRAELI people (Leviticus 19:28) to not get cuttings or markings for the dead, a very specific ancient pagan ritual; modern tattoos are obviously not that. Then there is Jesus to consider. Most seem to ignore that He has a tattoo on His thigh; notice this is a part of the body that should be covered normally. (Rev. 19:16); it’s just simply not a good idea in most cases to permanently mark your body in a visible area as it may not be a good testimony in our modern society and I have no interest personally in permanently marking my body anyways. But a good example of a tattoo that seems to be fine to have is the mark that all Air Force Pararescue team members (Also called PJ’s) get when they finish training; it is their military tradition; an example of a good tradition. It is placed on the upper rear hip (so it is not publicly displayed) and is a small mark honoring all the past Pararescuers who have died in this time honored area of military service. So I am more accepting of hidden tattoos than public ones, but again, the Bible does not speak against these to the Church so they must be up to personal preference.
I do think that people should dress modestly according to their gender (for Christians specifically; pants on men and skirts on women in our modern society obviously makes a clear statement). But I do not think it is wrong for women to wear ladies’ pants. It is just an easy way to stand out for Jesus if a modern Christian woman chooses to wear dresses in public. It appears that cross dressing is a taboo in God’s Book. (I Timothy 2:9-10, I Peter 3:3-6) but I am open to figuring out how this works in relation to cultural authority and social appropriateness and the whole Drag Queen culture. Perhaps there is a place for them among the church and I have no doubt GOD loves the drag queens just as much as He loves everyone else. There are also those not born comfortable or confident in their gender identity; so maybe it is right for them to dress accordingly especially if there is a genuine biological reason for their gender identity crisis. I'm not into hating anyone. Something must be said for cultural and personal context. Much nuance is required to wisely discern this subject as it is not a black and white; cut and dry issue. Pants weren’t even a thing in Earth’s clothing until the Goths started wearing them in the late Roman period and the Romans thought they were barbaric for doing so. You were an uncouth heathen if you did not wear a Toga back then; man or woman. And for several centuries it was uncivilized for men to go outside without a hat. But this all just goes to demonstrate the dynamic nature of culture and apparel. Most fundamentalists have completely forgotten, but only 100 years ago or so, it was believed among Christians that dress ties were of the Devil and to be avoided at all costs in dressing up for church.
My how times have changed. But I still think ties are of the Devil; I hate 'em! They are so annoying to deal with and point down to your crotch; tisk! But I suppose its better than all the powder, wigs, and lace men used to have to wear; MY how clothing standards have really moved around!

There is also this nugget of fact: I can't help but notice that even fundamental Christians ignore commands like giving one another a holy kiss; Romans 16:16, I Corinthians 16:20, II Corinthians 13:12, I Thessalonians 5:26, and I Peter 5:14 thus - what other "commands" is in okay to ignore? Modern Christians also seem to largely ignore the women keeping silent in church bit so - at the end of the day - we all need to figure out how to properly and appropriately interpret scripture as inconsistency leads to hypocrisy and contention.
As as far as what Biblical nakedness is, I look to these passages which give clear instruction for how men and women are to behave toward one another. Yes, this is Old Testament Law and I realize that it was given to the Nation of Israel, but it still works as good guidelines for practical things like how to be clothed and decent today. There is also the specifics given about what is nakedness on a man; it is basically that which we cover when we go swimming. The loins and thigh area from below the belly button to the top of the knee. (Exodus 28:42, Leviticus 18:6-20) So men do not have to wear shirts to cover their nakedness as the upper body is not called nakedness in the Exodus passage. The waist (loins) and thighs are, thus thongs or bikinis in public are a no-no since they don’t cover enough. But this only applies IF that Levitical passage actually has authority outside of its instruction to ancient Israel. Does modesty apply in all cases and at all times or are there exceptions? Did not Jesus get undressed in order to wash His disciples feet? And what about young Mark who fled naked that one time? There was also that time when King Saul inexplicably got naked and prophesied. Look it up!
I suspect, as in all other things; the Bible is our guide and it really is up to us and our culture to determine what is right or wrong for these various situations and not one single Pastor or Denominational doctrine. After all – Is there not a time and place for everything under the sun?
Modern swimming shorts, which almost always go to the top of the knee, are great when considering modesty. Though there is nothing wrong in this area of life with having a higher personal standard. Again, men wearing shirts to any public swimming event does allow a chance to make a conservative statement if you want. But that is up to the Father of a household or the leader of a group activity or the individual themselves and is not required according to the Bible. But in this realm of thought, it is far more important for Women to cloth their nakedness for men’s sake as we men are far more affected by what we see than women are; hence why historically conservative cultures have always encouraged their women to be modestly dressed. It’s also just plain civilized and decent.
I do not, as a rule, use very crude strong language or curse words. However, some crude language and certain strong language is Biblical when used in the right context. So I have no problem using generally crude language or strong terminology when appropriate. (Matthew 12:36, 37; 23; Ephesians 4:29, Philippians 3:8) Remember; everything has its place. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)
I believe that any kind of sex outside of marriage may be sinful; at least that is what I have been taught and I am thus far trusting that this is not another wrong teaching. But in strictly following the Bible only I come to the following conclusions: The Bible word for all sexual sin is Fornication but fundamentalists include allot of sexual related things in with this word than they should. Sex seems to be intended as a special blessing of physical intimacy between two people – most often a man and a woman - and traditionally those who are bound together in marriage though the Bible does not actually state this outright; this is simply implied and demonstrated on multiple occasions. Though polygamy is implied and condoned (II Samuel 12:8) And Marriage seems to clearly be intended for one man and one woman, but again this is not stated directly, just directly implied. And I for one agree that there is no need for marriage outside of the joining of a man and a woman to start a family.
The Bible makes very clear that divorce is wrong with one exception (that of adultery) given by Jesus. (Song of Solomon, Matthew 19:3-12, Romans 7:1-6, I Corinthians 6:13, 16, 18, Hebrews 13:4) The entire modern marriage ceremony seems to be a good tradition as well as practical for a number of reasons, but the Bible never tells us that a full ceremonial event needs to occur for marriage. It is directly implied that it is a simple choice of whether a man or woman will join together. So much that is labeled fornication or adultery by fundamentalists these days may very well be Pharisaical error. If a man and woman choose to be with one another for life then they are married in GOD’s eyes; plain and simple. An Adultery seems to simply be when a husband of wife is unfaithful to the spouse they pledged loyalty too.
I may be wrong on some of this; I feel I am still learning the details of this subject even today. Its most unfortunate that IFB leadership will state so much as being “THUS SAITH THE LORD” when it is not so. That is wrong but hey, Tradition is a hard thing to overcome. But back on topic; the specific sexual sins that I do see the Bible clearly forbidding or calling sin and telling us Christians not to take part in would be adultery (so having sex with someone else when you are already married) and prostitution also known as lasciviousness in the Bible. So we are not to do things sexually that treats others or ourselves carelessly. Sex is supposed to be a special thing people share together who genuinely love and care for each other. That much is plainly and logically obvious.
Obviously fundamentalism has for (apparently centuries now) assumed and taught that homosexuality is wrong, and yet – if you are objective with Scripture, aside from Israeli men only being told to not be gay in the O.T. Law period, no other scripture actually speaks against homosexuality – no – not even Romans which is so grossly misrepresented. Jesus certainly never addressed homosexuality even though He likely helped and even boasted over an apparent gay man. (Matthew 8:5-13, Luke 7:1-10)
The Genesis Sodom story and the Romans 1 passage are greatly taken out of context all the time even though the literal, grammatical language of the Roman’s 1 Scriptures can only apply to straight people anyways as a gay man or a lesbian woman is not leaving their nature as a straight person would. And Genesis is clearly speaking of ancient Sodomy which was a selfish, unconscentual, and violent anal raping of anyone else for purposes of displaying dominance over them. The modern definition of Sodomy has been greatly expanded.
A couple other N.T. passages are also used to attempt to attack homosexuality but it is a fail if you are again literally, grammatically, and historically objective in your interpretation. Oddly fundamentalists will use this trinity of interpretation in almost every other place in Scripture correctly – go figure. The hypocrisy and blindness is real. Unfortunately this means fundamentalist Christians are often very sinful in what they say and do towards the LGBTQ community. I know Jesus is ashamed of it all. But such is the way of sinful man; even the best of humanity has its flaws. And yes, IFB Christians tend to be among the best of humanity – that is what I have seen anyways and have heard witness of many others who have observed this as well.
But it took modern Christians forever to figure out how to properly interpret slavery scriptures so I am sure it will take twice as long for us to figure out the few LGBTQ passages. Ha – I know a set of good LGBTQ related passages that fundamentalists almost never mention: Matthew 19:12 and I Corinthians 7:7-9 but I guess these would not help the traditional arguments against anti-LGBTQ preaching hence their being ignored on purpose or by consequence of ignorance.
But back to the overall topic of what the Bible has to say about sex: It may very well be that GOD does not view other human intimacy as sin outside of Adultery, Rape (or Biblical Sodomy), Pedophilia, Bestiality and Prostitution as other things have no Bible passage stating such as being outright wrong if you interpret within the passages’ context; literally, grammatically, and historically as we are supposed to.
But I do see great wisdom in any young person who maintains purity until marriage if they can. This is most honorable. But purity culture is not often taught correctly in fundamental churches; preachers and teachers forget that some young people have their purity taken from them by wicked adults in the acts of rape (or Biblical Sodomy) and sexual assault. I have NEVER heard any purity preaching address this very rampant sin as they should within IFB circles. The traditional teachings about maintaining purity can’t apply there obviously. Since this logical truth is so often neglected in church, Christian young people - who would have otherwise remained pure but were defiled in one or more specific ways outside of their control - feel dirty, ashamed, and sinful because of how Biblical purity is traditionally and narrowly taught without regard to the proper nuance and thus these victims (and those close to them) are often the crowd that act out and leave the church among the younger generations.
Purity before marriage (or just being sexually pure in general) is a good thing for sure, but it is not the principle thing according to the Bible; it’s just so often a traditional Christian thing taught without Biblical balance or necessary nuance. Purity Culture may not be the worst tradition of course, but it’s still allot of men’s teachings placed above the Bible (just as the Pharisees did) so that is not good at all. (Matthew 15:8-11, Mark 7:6-9, Acts 5:29, Revelation 21:19)
No Bible passage says all people MUST remain pure till marriage; though again – this is a wise and loving thing to do for your future partner; a VERY honorable thing to maintain, it is not Biblically mandated. Of course the Fundamentalists will have their own pet definition of adultery and so say that therefore the Bible does direct this. But GOD did not tell us to make up our own definitions for His teachings. THAT is sinful. Instead, it seems logical and Biblically direct to me that Adultery is disloyalty to your spouse AFTER marriage. Though I can agree - yes it is likely implied – that singles should be pure; there is a big difference between implications and directions. GOD gave us free will; therefore let not man take it from us!
Instead the Bible guides us in how to live pure within marriage but does include wisdom that can be applied for all other sexual situations if you look for it. Once again it is simply IFB TRADITION to push purity culture on young people without regard to what happens in the messiness of modern life. I believe purity culture needs to see reformation in how it is taught as does Biblical sex education – this is greatly lacking. The vast majority of fundamental parents seem to treat sex as taboo and get angry if the word is even said around kids under the age of 18; it’s ridiculous! Sex is part of life! And if you don’t teach it at home then the world, the TV, and the internet will!
Here are most of the Bible verses dealing with sex or relationships and where the GOD uses a sexual term to allegorize a religious act: Genesis 2:24, 4:1, 6:2, 19:6-7, 20:1-13, 29:21-25, 34:1-7, 39:12, Exodus 20:14-19, 22:16-17; Leviticus 18:6-30, 20:10-21; Numbers 5:11-31, Deuteronomy 23:17, Ruth 3:10 – 4:17, II Samuel 11:2-13, 12:8, 13:1-21, I Kings 11:1-4, 14:24, 15:12, 22:46; II Kings 23:7, I Chronicles 27:33, II Chronicles 21:11, Proverbs 6:23-24, 28-29, 32-33, 27:12; Song of Solomon, Isaiah 1:21, 23:4-37; Jeremiah 2:20-36, 3:6-9, Daniel 1:9, Ezekiel 16:26, 29, 32, 23:37; Hosea 1:2-3, Malachi 2:14-16, Matthew 5:27-32, 12:39, 15:19, 19:3-12, 25:1-13; Mark 7:21, 10:7-9, Luke 7:2-3, 16:18; John 4:16-19, 29, 8:1-11, 13:23, 34-35, 15:12-13; Acts 15:29, Romans 1:24-32, I Corinthians 5:1, 6:9-10, 13, 15-16, 18, 7:2, 10-15, 10:13; Ephesians 2:10, 5:3, I Thessalonians 4:3, Hebrews 13:4, Jude 6-7, Revelation 2:14, 20-22, 17:1-18, 18:2-9.
MOVIES and ENTERTAINMENT:
Worldly entertainment should be judged by its content and is up to personal preference in most cases, though many Biblical principles can be applied to guide one’s choice of movies/music/reading material/ and games; and any of this that glorifies sin should be avoided as regularly consumed material. I personally do not enjoy gory violence in any of my entertainment as I know that Satan and his demons enjoy seeing man (who is made in God’s image) mutilated and destroyed and therefore I find this stuff abhorrent to my soul as well.
Some Christians make a big deal about magic in movies but I do not. I draw a clear distinction between the real world Satanic witchcraft (Which the Bible specifically says is equal to Rebellion (I Samuel 15:23) and all fictional magic which (if you are willing to study and compare objectively) is clearly different and distinct. In the few cases where fictional magic is similar to or parallel to real world Satanic witchcraft, it is almost always used by the villains of the story or by wayward or ignorant protagonists as is appropriate. I strongly believe that entertainment – especially fictional media – has a very important role in our human lives. Just as Jesus made great use of storytelling and parables to teach, so can we be taught by good fiction. Stories have been the PRIMARY means of communicating cultural ideas and ethical principles for all of human history; not to mention a large chunk of our Bible is recorded in story form. It thus behooves us to study out and verify that what we consume as entertainment is admonishing and edifying to our souls as fiction allows us to consider and meditate upon the truths of Creation and the Bible in ways we never could in our daily lives. (Philippians 4:6-9) Fiction specifically allows us to mentally play out morality paths in our minds and see and summarily contemplate the choices, consequences, and fated ends of contextualized characters and associated groups which is a VERY healthy mental exercise to partake in; especially for young people who need to make certain personal determinations of life choices BEFORE they have to make them in real life. No other medium provides this sort of mental exercise to this degree or extent nor is it as enjoyable. Once again this is probably WHY the Bible is so full of stories. Fictional conceptualization is a highly profitable exercise to partake in; thus a Christian SHOULD regularly utilize good quality fictional media consumption as part of their daily lives. There is Proverbs wisdom that applies here. You can gain much wisdom from reading and watching good fictional stories which is exactly what we are supposed to be doing. (Proverbs 4:7, 26; Proverbs 8 & 9, 12:1, 15).
Music in church should be doctrinally sound and should point the church goer to GOD and His Word as a part of worship and not distract the listener from the purpose of the service it is used in; this is simply logical. But without Biblical direction to tell us otherwise, the style of worship music is a matter of preference freely given to each individual church to decide. It was tradition for centuries for Christians to only sing Acapello without any instruments. But early American Baptists in the state of Delaware started a new tradition of using certain instruments and that has been the way to do things in our IFB churches ever since though other denominations have gone ahead and brought in all manner of other instruments and even some IFB churches will utilize full orchestras alongside church service. Though there are styles of music that arguably have no place in church at all, and even some still that should have no place in a personal music library period, music for personal listening is another matter from church music altogether. You can certainly enjoy and be ministered to by music that would not be appropriate for Church functions or congregational singing; so to each his own. Sometimes you just simply need to minister to your own spirit and listen to particular music because of your mood. We even have a Biblical story on this. (I Samuel 16:14-23)
Our liberty of Preference and the Principles of Life should guide with what music we allow ourselves to enjoy. Unfortunately, some fundamental church pastors take it upon themselves to dictate how people should listen to music at home, and with few exceptions, these Pharisee pastors tend to go beyond the scriptural instruction GOD has given to them as spiritual leaders. The Bible tells us who is in charge of the home and it is very clearly the Father whereas the pastor is - at best - a Spiritual leader for the home; but still secondary because the Father’s spiritual leadership comes first and the primary place for a pastor’s leadership is in Church. He has no place telling Parents how to direct their homes OUTSIDE of what the Bible says. Unfortunately tradition encourages all kinds of twisted Scriptural shenanigans in order to control the homes of the congregation to a detail that is cult like. Though the Pastor can certainly provide spiritual guidance on all manner of life subjects, it is not he who dictates what goes on at home. That is not his area of authority. (Genesis 3:16; I Corinthians 11:1-34; Ephesians 5:22-33; Colossians 3:18; I Timothy 5:8; Titus, 2:3-5; I Peter 3:1-7) Each home should be lead by its Father (or if his presence is lacking) the Mother. (Proverbs 1:8) With children, they obviously need to submit to their parent’s directives, but on their own – and when they reach adulthood, living in their own personally chosen set of standards – obviously then the now independent children should choose good music and hopefully utilize Biblically discerned melodies to partake in.

Much is made in fundamentalism and taught about and against heavy beats, rock music, and even Christian contemporary styles of music when the Bible gives no such direction or authoritative commands. Much in the realm of music is clearly left up to personal preference and culture. But obviously some logic can be applied here. Music should never be used to feed the flesh only and any spiritual songs we enjoy should be doctrinally sound and not shallow or hollow in their spiritual depth. Secular music shouldn't promote sinful behavior or bad philosophies and should help and encourage us in our times of emotional needs both in its lyrics and more importantly in its musical melody, harmony, and rhythm. The best sort of music is the kind that has these three elements in perfect balance. And balance in this context does not mean that each is equal; in music each part has to be at a certain percentage and this widely differs from song to song depending on the spiritual purpose of the that piece of music.
For example, the rhythm of most good songs should not be a high percentage. In fact – with a few exceptions due to context – it is best if the amount of rhythm in any one song is less that 10 percent of a song’s structure. Much of what would classify as “secular” music can actually be very Godly in its design and affect as the skilled musicians and God blessed composers of the world have often made use of Natural GOD created principles to create and balance their magnificent musical work; thus – much so called secular music may actually fall within the category of spiritual songs in God’s mind as these songs minister to our spirits and souls in many positive ways as they should.
Movie soundtracks, Classical music, some Jazz, New Age, and Easy Listening music would all be great examples of this sort of music. The Bible actually has much to say about music and seems to clearly show us that it is an important part of human life beyond the obvious scientific fact that it is. But some Fundamental pastors give out the impression that the only thing we Christians should ever be listening to is gospel and hymn music which is incorrect and legalistic. GOD never intended for this part of our lives to be so narrowly defined. The Bible certainly does not state this. We have much more Christian liberty than that and it is rather obvious if one is willing to take the time to study music, especially when considering ALL that GOD has to say about it in His Word.
Here are just a few of the over 500 music references available in the Bible along with a few verses that display guiding principles for choosing which music we listen to: Genesis 4:21, Exodus 15, Numbers 10:9, 20:7; I Samuel 16:10-23, II Samuel 6:5, I Kings 1:39-46, II Chronicles 5:11-14, Job 21:12, 38:1-7; Psalms 30:4, 40:1-3, 69:30, 90:1, 103:33, 118:14-15; Proverbs 11:1, Isaiah 5:1, Jeremiah 17:9-10, Ezekiel 28:12-19, 44:23; Daniel 3:4-5, 7; Zephaniah 3:16-17, Matthew 7:17, 26:26-30; John 4:24, Luke 15:25-27, Romans 3:10, 13:14, I Corinthians 14:6-9, II Corinthians 10:5, Galatians 5:16-25, Ephesians 4:29-32, 5:1-4, 19-21; Philippians 4:8, Colossians 3:12-17, I Thessalonians 5:21, Titus 2:10, Hebrews 2:9-12, James 4:5-8, I Peter 1:13-16, 2:11, 5:6-10; I John 4:1-6, III John 1:11, and Revelation 5:9, 14:3
My Personal Separation Standards:
I would and do as much, as I am tactfully able to, separate from people who are obviously caustic and evil. Though, thankfully, there has been very few of those kinds of people in my life. Most people I have met have been very good people; superb beings of light and love. But if I may focus in even more on the spiritual side of things; I would not and have not attended a church or religious meeting that clearly taught against Biblical Salvation, the Authority of Scriptures, the Nature of GOD and other such key doctrines. If I found myself in such a place I would greatly desire to leave. This is Biblically directed: (Romans 16:17-18, I Corinthians 5:9, 10:14-33; Corinthians 6:14-17) And in friendship standards, I like to keep close those who are generally of sound character, sound minds, and sound religious practice. (Proverbs 27:17) Most all of my close friends are, or were when we were close, fellow Baptist of one variety or another. Within my extended family are a group of Conservative Presbyterians, some observing Catholics and among my broader friends and acquaintances are other denominational believers and a few Agnostics (which are those who say they are not sure what to believe but accept that at least they know GOD exists). I have been friends with a number of Mennonites and even have one good Lutheran and another good Mormon friend. The simple fact is birds of a feather do flock together so we naturally want to hang out with those who are like minded. That and we are specifically encouraged to do so as we can then serve, influence, and bless them and they us. (Galatians 6:10, I Thessalonians 5:12-15) And if you get to know Christians and Spiritual believers of all the other denominations, and speak to them about the core beliefs of Scripture, you’ll find out there is ALLOT we agree on and very little that we disagree on. It’s kind of silly sometimes what different denominations quibble over. But GOD has allowed it because of free will so (shrug) we just deal with it and move on. At the end of the day GOD told us what to do about this. (Psalm 34:12-14, Mark 9:50, Romans 12:18, All of 14 and 15:1-13, Hebrews 12:14, II Timothy 2:22)
END CONTROVERSIAL SUBJECTS. The rest of this is specifics or details about the Biblical narrative, archaeological evidence that backs the Bible, or other related things that further describe my full Worldview of life and human history. So none of this should be controversial to any person who studies what I list out and verifies for their self that what I say here is true or as close to the truth as I can get.
Beliefs about the Earth’s Creation:
I believe that GOD created the world Ex Nihilo and all in it in 6 literal days and rested on the 7thday (Genesis 1, 2; Exodus 20:11, Nehemiah 9:6, John 1:3, Colossians 1:16, Revelation 4:11). God Created man out of the dust of the ground and made him a living free will soul and then he later formed woman to accompany man on that 6th Day of Creation. (Genesis 2:18, I Corinthians 11:7-9) Man then sinned and plunged all of creation into sin and under the curse about 7 years later according to the Biblically referenced book of Jubilees. (Genesis 3:17-19, Romans 5:12-21, I Corinthians 15:21-22) But GOD immediately promised redemption (Genesis 3:15) as He knew that man could not free himself.
And so the rest of the Scriptures details GOD’s working with mankind to bring us to the knowledge of His Law, our sinful state, and then our need of an ultimate Savior: the Son of Man – Jesus Christ – who is the Son of God. But back to Creation – I believe that the Earth is very near unto 5,880 years of age because of the combined records of Scripture, History, and Science. The solar System gives scientific signs of being about this same age and God did claim to have created the stars besides this fact. (Genesis 1:16, Psalm 136:7-9) Creation Science Seminar 1
Of course GOD ultimately created EVERYTHING, and I am very open to viewing all of the Universe being this same age, (the lack of Type 3 Supernovas indicate a fairly young galaxy at the very least and the similar spiral bound nature of all visible galaxies may show a fairly young Universe) but for the purposes of this dissertation, I am focusing on Earth which the Bible also focuses on. For the record, I am not sure that GOD created our entire Universe in the same 6 days. GOD certainly could have and may have, but the Bible is not clear on this. Scientific observation does limit the age of our galaxy (The Milky Way) to within at least 300,000 years. But the greater universe beyond is outside of man’s ability to observe with enough ability using current and available technology and means to accurately ascertain its age beyond the neighboring and various spiral galaxy formations. And the Bible, apart from telling us that He made it all, does not give us any details or timeline beyond that of our planet Earth and our local solar system by implication. So though I fully believe that GOD did create ALL things without exception, I do not know WHEN He did so for all things beyond Earth. It is of note that in the creation narrative of Genesis, GOD does claim to have made the stars, but the wording does not include it directly within the Earth’s creation timeline; an indication of them being created prior to this Genesis 1 account as the Earth body and water were apparently created as well. Some do try and claim that there is a “gap” between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 but this theory comes from a mental place where doubters or compromisers are trying to reconcile Biblical Creation with Darwinian evolution and billions of years of Earth forming on its own. I see this as ridiculous and silly as Evolution has no empirical data to support it. Thus we need not try and “fit” it into the Creation narrative as it does not likely belong.
The theory of Darwinian Evolution is 100% false and unscientific even though it is currently the accepted main stream scientific theory here on Earth for explaining the origin of all life apart from GOD. This theory was created and upheld by those who obstinately refused to believe in GOD and so required a way to explain creation outside of GOD. But the best they could come up with is spontaneous and self driven Evolution. To this date, no scientist can explain away, with empirical data, the details of nature reveal themselves to be so obviously, meticulously, and intelligently designed. The fine tuning of the laws of nature, the failure of the world’s best dating methods to prove millions of years, and a whole list of other time limiting factors on Earth’s geologic age all point to the authenticity of the Bible’s young Earth creation account as being the best basis for scientific explanations.
According to the Bible’s record: GOD created the Earth under 6,000 years ago, Man sinned shortly thereafter plunging us into the curse of sin and death, then after an incursion of fallen angels which instigated widespread sin and wickedness, GOD decided to wipe clean the face of the Earth with a worldwide flood that destroyed everything killing all creatures that require air to breath except those that GOD put upon the Ark with Noah and his family. Then GOD has worked through a chosen people (First the Israelites, and now the Church) to preach His gospel and reveal His Word to all so that they may know and be able to answer the three big questions in life:
-
Who am I?
-
Why am I here?
-
Where am I going when I die?
Furthermore, I believe that GOD is the first cause and the originator of all that is. He is the Great Creator, the Lawgiver, and the Father of Light. All of existence and even what is “beyond” is BY HIM. GOD is the Ultimate Creator of All things – no exceptions. All other Gods, gods, and deities are beneath the YAHWAY, Jehovah, GOD of the Bible.
I also believe that Adam and Eve are the first humans and the great Ancestors of ALL humans here on Earth. Therefore we are all ONE RACE. (Acts 17:26) Though there are those who may have some angelic seed in them due to what the Bible teaches us. (Genesis 6:1-2, 4; II Peter 2:4-6, Jude 1:6-7) This fallen angel mixing is the origin of the Giants and also the foundation for GOD’s key reason for the destruction of all flesh in the World Wide Flood and eventual Command to Israel to wipe out all the pagan inhabitants in the land of Canaan because of their genetic ancestry. Some say this is controversial but it shouldn’t be. The existence of Giants was the very reason most of the spies were scared to enter the land in the first place. (Numbers 13:26-33, 33:50-56, Deuteronomy 3:3, 11; 7; Joshua 1-12 with a special mention of 12:4) it is also of note that one of the reasons specifically given for Noah being chosen was his pure human genetic body. (Genesis 6:9) While I do not think GOD will allow any more angels to sin like the fallen ones again, there is this odd mention of ladies keeping their hair modest because of the angels in I Corinthians 11:10. Perhaps in GOD’s all knowing mind; if it can happen once, it can happen again. He does know His angels best of course.

It should also be noted here that, as in so many other areas of the Bible, modern science and the historical record prove this genetic influx and the existence of the Giants to be factual. The U.S. Smithsonian has actually gone far out of their way to hide evidence of refugee Giants that once lived here in the Americas. But this Giant topic is controversial and in the 1800’s when many Giant bones and graves were being unearthed in the U.S. and also when many new theories were coming out to explain away Bible truth, some Christian compromisers came up with the Descendants of Seth theory. This theory is not only a sad excuse for Bible explanation but also un-Biblical as it does nor faithfully or objectively interpret scripture and ignores what II Peter and Jude state plainly. That and this theory gives no explanation for where the Giants came from in the first place. I say it is a stupid theory. Also, it is a well-established scientific fact that without some outside source, mankind reproducing on his own could not give birth to the 30 foot giants of old and the unique non human DNA found in these giant remains; those who spawned the legends of the Nephilim and the Titans.
To believe this came about just because good men married sinful women in Genesis 6 is illogical nonsense. GOD made each kind of creature – including humans – to only reproduce after their own kind thus we humans could not produce the huge Giants as described in the Bible and the historical record. It should be noted here that the Book of Jasher, an ancient historical book recommended directly twice by Scripture (Joshua 10:13, II Samuel 1:18) states even more clearly what Genesis 6 only briefly describes about the Angels that sinned, the Giants, and Noah. So this is documented fact and not theory.
Further Bible Archaeology Notes:
Being an avid research nerd and loving to dig into search things out, I have come to these conclusions concerning a selection of key Biblical things after gathering and assessing what evidence was available:
The Garden of Eden may have been a place originally situated in either the location of modern day Jerusalem or in what is now the bottom of the Persian Gulf. There is also a good scientific argument put out by Dr. Stan Deyo that central West Africa in the Great Rift Valley region may be the location. But bottom line is, we don’t know for sure. Nor have I come across any info that indicates that the Trees of Life or the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil still exist on Earth; they may, but so far as I know, this is still a mystery.
Noah’s Ark I believe, has been found at the Mountains of Ararat in Eastern Turkey and was discovered by a scientific expedition lead by Biblical Archaeologist Ron Wyatt. At the very least the object specifically found on Doomsday Mountain in Dogubeyazit, Turkey is a large 300 foot long – extremely ancient, once-wooden boat – proven by multiple lines of scientific inquiry. And it is also possible that the top portion of the Ark is still up on the highest mountain as many claim to have seen a structure up on the mountain too. But at least the main hull – if not all - of the Ark has apparently been taken down slope of the main mountain in a series of great earthquakes and eruptions over the millennia, or possibly in the one great cataclysm that hit the Roman Empire around or shortly after 70 A.D. The boat remains have currently settled within a large ancient mud flow within the last couple thousand years. But all the historical and archaeological evidence found at and in the region of the site seems to prove that not only is this the remains of Noah’s Ark, but the locals have known about this historic fact going back to early medieval days at the very least.
As for the World Wide Flood, I believe that a combination of what Dr. Kent Hovind, Dr. Carl Baugh and Dr. Walt Brown’s theories teach help explain exactly what GOD did to Earth to cause the fountains of the deep to open up and the firmament to alter and change its structure. Dr. Walt Brown’s Hydroplate Theory seems to perfectly explain the specific worldwide flood geology we still see the remains of today to include plate tectonics, mountain ranges, and oceanic undersea ridges. This Great Flood was the most intense catastrophe this Earth (and possibly the whole solar system) has ever endured and we are still feeling it’s after affects to this day in what is now termed Global Warming or Climate Change. The Great Flood is that which triggered and caused the Great Ice Age according to the above men’s research and the available scientific data. Oh yes, and I do not believe in Man-made Global Warming. Climate Change is a natural thing and we have God’s promises besides: Genesis 8:22. So Man-made Global warming is a hoax put upon us by the Globalist puppet liars for economic and political manipulation purposes.
Arguments and theories abound concerning the origins and Authorship of Genesis. But I like to think it is fairly simple based on what I have studied. As He has always done, GOD used first hand eye witnesses to record events occurring in and around them and then had those writings preserved to be passed on to the next generation, eventually getting compiled into the Old Testament by the Jews and then the New Testament for the Church. So Genesis (as it says of itself in the archaic phrase “these are the generations of…” also called a toledoth) has at least 10 authors (based on those 10 toledoths) with Moses being the logical and assumed compiler and editor of these ancient writings. Nowhere in Scripture does it say that Moses was the author of Genesis directly. But the next four books are directly said to be written by Moses. (Exodus 17:14, 24:4, 34:27; Numbers 33:2, Deuteronomy 31:9, 31:24; Joshua 8:31-32,Mark 12:26, Luke 24:44, John1:17, 5:45-47, 7:19; Romans 10:5, 19; II Corinthians 3:14, 15) And a good number of other passages could be listed where the Law of Moses is referred to. So the first 5 books of the Bible are referred to by the other Authors of Scripture and by Christ Himself as the Book or Law of Moses. But he did not write Genesis; he merely compiled it from older written sources possibly given to him by his Father in Law Jethro or his brother Aaron who would have received them from his Levite father if not by both men. Most don’t realize that Jethro has a direct lineage to Shem and has another inheritance he received from Jacob’s family generations back; all described in the historical book of Jasher.
The Great Pyramid of Egypt seems to be described in Isaiah 19:19-20. This Bible passage is one of those seemingly strange, isolated references that has no real solid explanation in context. Archaeologists and researchers have dug up some interesting info on this enigmatic structure; the LAST of the Great Wonders of the Ancient World; some of which seems to corroborate what the Isaiah passage says. Researcher Ken Klein has an excellent documentary series that makes a good argument for the Pyramid being a monument constructed by Enoch before the Great Flood. The ancient Emerald Tablet confirms this idea too. Historical, geological, and archaeological evidence does at the very least confirm that the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx existed before some great flood. They both have physical evidence of having endured a massive flood in the ancient past and so are likely one of those rare leftovers from the world before. The Egyptian Office of Antiquities has, over the years, done allot of cover-up on the Pyramids and on the Giza Plateau in general. It’s as if they don’t want the world to know the truth. They are hiding an ancient secret – possibly in connection with the Freemasons who seem to revere the Great Pyramid. And so it is with Satan – he loves to hide all proofs of scripture or key truths about our world.
The Red Sea Crossing is often miss-located in the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula. There is a Catholic tradition that the Israelites merely waded through the Reed Sea near Goshen and then settled in at the traditional Mt. Sinai in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt. But Archaeological proof first found by the Biblical Archaeologist Ron Wyatt as well as the details given in the Bible puts the real Mt. Sinai across the Gulf of Aqaba in Midian of north, western Arabia. And thus it is the Gulf of Aqaba which the Israelites crossed and where the evidence and archaeological remains prove the Biblical epic. Also in the Jabal Al Laws Mountain Area we find all the proper locations, historical sites, and remains of the ancient Israelite sojourn, to include very revealing archaeological artifacts. Also note what Galatians 4:25 says. Dr. Lennart Moller and Author Penny Cox Caldwell can confirm this information with books they have written after visiting the historical sites in person.
Another contested Biblical location is the actual original site of the Jewish Temple; the last version of which was termed Herod’s Temple as he funded the construction of the massive structure. Here again, details in the Bible, and the historical record, as well as some key archaeology confirm that the true location of the Jewish Temple was not on today’s traditional Temple Mount where the Al Aqsa Mosque sits surrounded by an ancient Roman built wall, but was 600 feet to the south of the Southern Wall over the Gihon Spring on what was once known as the Ophal Mound. The Historian Josephus gives clear eye witness clues concerning all of these things as does the revered archaeologist and writer, Dr. Ernest L. Martin. The Associates for Scriptural Knowledge and Researcher Robert Cornuke have excellent data on this true original temple location.
Along with this location is another key site in Bible locations; in fact it is THEE site of all sites as we are talking now about the location of CALVARY where Jesus Christ was slain for our sins on a Roman cross by demand of the Jewish leadership of the day. This real location, I believe, is historically and archaeologically proven to be Gordon’s Calvary sitting south east of the Garden Tomb where Jesus’s empty crypt now sits and south west of Jeremiah’s Grotto on the Cliff face called Golgotha presently fronted and partially covered over by a local tour bus station. This site sits outside the north wall of the old city of Jerusalem not far from Zedekiah’s Cave as detailed by the gospel of John. Incidentally, it is from this cave that one could (if he were allowed) walk through to an underground corridor (now blocked off) in the direction of Jeremiah’s Grotto and find a once hidden and sealed off room directly beneath the Cross Site where Biblical Archaeologist Ron Wyatt, under supervision by the Israeli Office of Antiquities in the early 1980s, discovered the final resting place of the Ark of the Covenant and all of the original Temple Furniture and Jewish treasures. These were hidden here by King Zedekiah and the Prophet Jeremiah back during the siege of Jerusalem by the Babylonians who would eventually come under command of King Nebuchadnezzar. They naturally remained there, hidden and forgotten for over 2,600 years until they were discovered by Wyatt in 1982. These items remain in place to this day were they have been catalogued and secured in place by the Israeli Office of Antiquities with much help from Ron Wyatt and Wyatt’s family. Researcher and YouTuber Michael Rood has lots of corroborating evidence for these claims.
But stepping back in time, another point of difference I find with traditional information and the Biblical truths is concerning Jesus birth, life, and death dates. Thanks both to Biblical details such as (Genesis 49:9-10, Matthew 2:1-9, Luke 21:25, Romans 10:17-18, Acts 2:19-22, Revelation 12:1-5) and the historical record, and modern scientific technology (like the Starry Night Software), we now can know for a certainty that Jesus’s conception and visitation by the angel Gabriel occurred (according to our calendar looking back) on September 11th of 3 B.C. and 9 months later His birth was on June 17th in 2 B.C. He would then be a year and a half old child in Bethlehem as he is visited on the evening of December 25th of 1 B.C. by three Wise Men from the Eastern School of Daniel in Babylon who found him thanks to watching the stars, studying ancient astronomical data, and through the studying of available Old Testament scripture and other such ancient writings and prophecies. In the sky that night would be the now famous Star of Bethlehem which was a special and unique conjunction of the Planets Jupiter and Venus being optically triple crowned by the retrograde motion of the star Regulus. This is why not all people recognized the star event in the sky but also why it stood out to those who knew what to look for.
Is similar fashion, we can step forward again to the events of the Passion Week and see that the heavens once again reveal signs and wonders as per GOD’s omniscient design. Once again the combination of Biblical details and the historical record allow us to pinpoint Jesus’s Death on April 3, 33 A.D. (or their Jewish Date: the 14th of Nisan); a Friday on our calendar. And on that day it is recorded and confirmed by both modern technology and ancient record keeping, that a Lunar Eclipse occurred along with a Blood Moon as Jesus died on the cross at 3 PM. These passages of Scripture help us with the needed details to figure out this event: (Leviticus 23:5, Joel 2:31, Matthew 27:2, Mark 15:25-37, Luke 3:23, 23:54; John 13:1) Another very interesting point of fascination here is this fact discovered by researchers in modern times: Had anyone been standing on the Moon during the moment of Jesus death and at the beginning of the Eclipse – and from there looked back at the Earth – they would have, from that astronomical vantage point, seen the Earth pass into the center of the constellation Eres which is known as the LAMB. Just as it says in Genesis 1:14, GOD set all of this up at the beginning of time, knowing full well the heavenly picture that would one day be discovered by man; epic and majestic galactic poetry. All of this is well documented in the Film: The Star of Bethlehem by Lawyer and Researcher Rick Larson and corroborated by a book by Dr. Earnest L. Martin: The Star That Astonished the World.

POLITICAL VIEWS:
I am a Conservatarian, a Conspiracy Researcher, and a Republican. I’m a Conservatarian because I have a mix of both Conservative and Libertarian views. But I would also be very close to a Classical Liberal in the old sense of the word as most Libertarian minded folk are. I am a Conspiracy Researcher or Conspiracy Scientist because my studies of history have made me realize that there is a great many conspiracies against GOD, His Word, the Truths based on his Word, and against anything and everything that is good in this world. But more on that later.
I am a Republican because I was born into a conservative family with a traditional fundamental Christian American upbringing so my political views were naturally guided in this way. But I altered my views when I began to learn more about history, politics, and Theology. There are some conservative views that actually don’t align with Scripture as much as they should. Just as there are some Libertarian views with the same problem; hence my hybrid Conservatarian point of view. But I am also a proud Republican because of the historical heritage we have. I’m immensely proud to be a part of a Political party founded to help free slaves. It’s also amazing to have the First President in our party be that of the great Abraham Lincoln; one of our very best Presidents and one whom I have also had the pleasure in studying in some depth. I realize that Southern Revisionists have tried to brand Lincoln a tyrant but these claims are based on a biased and subjective reading of certain facts of Civil War history as well as relying on false claims now proven incorrect by authenticated historical documentation.
Sure President Lincoln lived in a controversial time and made some controversial decisions, but such is to be expected in a time of war and from a mere human. At any rate, Lincoln’s personal testimony is stellar and the Republican party has a similarly excellent history starting with Lincoln, allying with the NRA, and moving on through the centuries voting for and supporting the first black Senators, Congressmen, Governors, Presidential Candidates and doing all of this for well over a century now. Some of the great political mile markers that Republicans almost always voted 100 percent for were the Amendments to give slaves citizenship, the Amendment to give women the right to vote, and the vote for the Civil Rights Bill just to name a few. Republicans have a long trail of good, moral, and just legislative; voting, and activism which I am glad to be a part of. We Republicans today still love American, love all its people, and seek to continue to get back to our Constitutional roots. We just need to renovate our party leadership; there are too many corrupt politicians holding our name. We call them RINOS; Republicans in name only.
Speaking of moral legislation; I believe in the sanctity of all human life. Thus I strongly believe that after conception-birth-control, abortions excepting those few needed to save the mother’s life, and euthanasia are all murder and should be treated as such without exception. And in those rare cases where a mother’s life is in danger in giving birth; the most ethical thing to do would be to ask the mother weather she wants to proceed with the birth and possibly sacrifice herself, or save herself and have an abortion. Any good hearted mother would take the risk and allow the baby to be born I am sure.
I love the U.S Constitution and am thrilled whenever I study about the Christian Founders who built this, the best man made document on Earth which then governs the best man made nation on Earth in the form of the United States Constitutional Republic; the only one of its kind on Earth, though many other nations have attempted to copy our success. No other political or governmental document comes close to the superior directives of the U.S. Constitution; the oldest Constitution on Earth. One of the beauties of this document is that it protects the people from government overreach. Its primary design is to limit government to a set place of civil work where we need the Federal head to do what the States and people cannot do on their own. Thus – when operating properly – the Constitution mainly allows the Federal Government to protect us from foreign threats and secures for us ultimate Justice in the Court System. Obviously today we have allowed an oligarchy of Communistic, Statist, Progressives to take over the levers of power so that much is out of balance and the Federal Government Bureaucracy has grown to a ridiculous size. But it can be fixed, and for the first time in a generation, we Americans have been given a chance to make this needed change in the form of President Trump and his amazing behind the scenes team; thus, Lord willing, we will see our Republic restored within the next decade.
But being a human document, the U.S. Constitution still had flaws inherent, so the brilliant Founders set up a way to amend the constitution which has only been used 27 times in the 230 years it has been in use; which is a world record in and of itself. Almost all other nations have gone through multiple constitutions and radical revisions of their founding documents down through history. This is another feat of magnificence when compared to all other governments in history all on its own. But one reason why the U.S. has had it so good is due to its Biblical Founding. No other nation has had the benefit of having what our Founding Fathers had in support by their preachers (The Black Robed Regiment) and the amazing American people (And this is fascinating considering that only about a third of the colonists back then actively supported the Revolution). These items and many more are why I have no problem believing in American Exceptionalism and generally agree with the new terminology of Christian Nationalism though with some distinctions from the woke left’s definition of the word. No Christians I have every associated with were blatant Racists or White Supremacists - nor would I ever want to align myself with such people. We are a Christian nation - thus Christian Nationalism; plain and simple.
The United States of America is far and away the best nation (or empire) to exist on Earth by a great many measures. We definitely have a Great history, a great people, and a massive potential to be even greater in the future if GOD wills it.
HISTORY NOTES:
I will now briefly overview here concerning the key people and groups most associated with Conspiracy and world history; the Illuminati. This all being heavily documented by numerous books, films, historical evidence, and first hand eye witnesses’ chief of which are: The books – None Dare Call it Conspiracy, The Creature from Jekyll Island, and Vatican Assassins by Authors: Gary Allen, Dr. Edward Griffin, and Eric Jon Phelps respectively. Also worth mentioning are Dr. Henry Makow’s books, Andrew Carrington Hitchcock’s Synagogue of Satan book, James Marrs’s books, Texe Marrs’s books, and the many videos and research done by Alexander Jones of the Infowars web page fame. Honorable mentions in this short list go to former Jesuit agent and priest: Malachi Martin and comic book writer and author Pastor Jack Chick who was a mentor and friend to former Illuminati leader: John Todd Collins. So many more sources could be sited but this list would become a book if I did so.
These Illuminati fiends are the distant descendants of Edomites, the seed of the Nephilim (often called the Merovingian line or the Black Nobility), many being Kazar Jews called in the Bible – the Synagogue of Satan. Ironically, that is what they call themselves in their inner most and highest ranked covens as they truly believe that they are serving and worshiping the “better” deity in submitting to their Lord and Master LUCIFER. So they are also Luciferians which are the top most leaders of the Satanic Cult and pagan religion. But they are most often know by these terms: Illuminati, One World Government, New World Order, Globalists, the Elites, the Secret Government, the Hidden Hand, the Cabal, the Moneychangers, and the infamous THEY everyone refers to when talking about the “Powers that Be” in a negative connotation. These beings have ruled the world’s Military Industrial Complex through the Pentagon and the CIA, the world’s religions through the Vatican, and the world’s governments through the Trilateral Commission, United Nations, and the World Bank. They also have run all Global Secret Societies for near 4 centuries now, with some of their more ancient ancestors holding power going all the way back to the times of Christ as they hold a connection with the modern Synagogue of Satan and the Sanhedrin that put Christ on the Cross by way of the Freemasons, the Fabian Society, the Rosicrucians, the Knights Templar, and the Vatican Church Jesuits, Frankists, and Black and Gray Popes.
But a good summary of what these Illuminati are all about can be summed up with this statement: These are the ones who want to set up a One World Government. But in fuller detail: They are a close group of fifteen power hungry families who have governed all of international finance and world politics for over 400 years and keep a tight leash on most government leaders through black mail and the absolute control of their banking systems and the world economy. These financial moguls devised their plans for a New World Order back at the turn of the 19th century on Jekyll Island, and after removing powerful opposition with the Titanic disaster, and then in defunding Nikola Tesla’s and Rudolf Diesel’s innovative ideas and plans (which would have greatly improved mankind’s standard of living by setting us free of reliance on oil), they were set to rule the world through an insidious undermining process aimed at economic destabilization, educational and entertainment monopolies, and military balances of power always prone to go to war all for the profit of these monsters without much opposition in the early 20th century. They call their scheme the Great Plan, the Great Work, The Great Secret, or the Work of the Ages. And in their religion they believe that once they have the world fully under the dominance of Satan’s Power, that they will be rewarded greatly for their deed by Lucifer himself.
And for the record, these Illuminati top families’ last names are the following: Rothschild (the leaders), Rockefeller, Li, DuPont, Collins, Russell, Kennedy, Morgan, Onassis, Astor, Reynolds, Freeman, Bundy, and Van Dyne. There has also developed a sort of second Tier Illuminati high circle of families which would be those who are more in the public eye but are still rich and influential often holding powerful positions in the world economic, financial, and political realms. These are the most useful puppets of the Illuminati such as the Gates, Pelosis, Clintons, Bushs, Bezos, Warburgs, Shiffs, Dulles, and Windsors to name those I am familiar with – but there are many more. They rule Main Stream Media worldwide, Hollywood, the Secret Societies of the Western World, the Drug Trafficking circles, the Human Trafficking network, and the World Banks, world church organization, world economic forums, and most governments through either proxy or direct influence. Example: Lord Evelyn Rothschild was Queen Elizabeth’s prime advisor for decades.
The Illuminati is guilty of much havoc in the world over the last half a millennia. They are responsible for a vast amount of corruption and bureaucracy in all areas of life. Early on they attempted to take over America with their unwitting banking agent, Alexander Hamilton. This almost worked until President John Quincy Adams was elected President on the then popular Anti-Masonic platform. During this time, Freemasons (And thus the Illuminati) had very little power and influence in America for decades which saved the country from much early bad influence. But the Big Bankers or Moneychangers persisted, trying again in the U.S. when the 20 year banking lease was up. However, President Andrew Jackson was aware of their scheme and fought tooth and nail to not only keep the bank lease from being put through again, but also worked hard to remove all Illuminati and Freemason agents from America’s government. Because of this, the Illuminati tried to assassinate Jackson four times; but each time their agents failed. And so the U.S. was once again free from the Illuminati Banking Cabal… mostly. But as Europe was largely within the grasp of these New World Order types by this time, and the U.S. had to trade with Europe, there was some economic affects that could be felt in America from time to time.
This leads us up to the U.S. Civil War where the Banksters thought for sure they would win; they had it all planned out and Britain was going to help. The Illuminati had control of many key southern politicians and a few northern ones. But President Abraham Lincoln and Czar Nicholas I of Russia teamed up and resisted. The Czar used his navy to blockade and keep back the British from interfering with America in trying to supply the South while Lincoln focused on directing the Union and reuniting the split country and almost completely succeeded in his gargantuan task.
After the war was won, the Illuminati were incensed and succeeded in revenge killing Lincoln, which greatly hindered the original Southern Restoration program that Lincoln had planned to use to help the land heal from war and fully restore the Union. In the ensuing chaos, the Illuminati agents set up their Democratic leaders and Jim Crow laws and exploited a diabolical plan to replace our original U.S. Constitution with a Corporate Version that had only minor changes, but which led to a series of far reaching legal alterations which forever changed our entire law system moving Admiralty and Civic Law to replace the before then centuries old (and Biblically based) Common Law. This would have such powerful ramifications later on when President Franklin Roosevelt ran roughshod over American’s freedoms in doing things like enacting the New Deal, confiscating all American’s gold and rounding up certain American citizens in concentration camps just because they were of Japanese descent. But we are actually getting ahead of ourselves.

We already mentioned the Titanic Disaster which J.P. Morgan specifically spear headed for his evil masters. After this they moved forward with their plans to start a World War and force the U.S. out of its isolationism AND put it in a place where it would be financially unstable enough to get the Federal Reserve Act passed; the villains persisted, had the allies ignore all of Germany’s attempt to broker truce and were successful in destroying the economic power of the German First Reich. This opened the doors for almost full influence and control over world economics and finance beginning in 1914 when the Fed set up its power base in America.

Due to the results of the first World War, a Second World War was inevitable and planned. World War II allowed the N.W.O. people to do WAY too much to discuss in this short form essay. But suffice it to say WWII built up the Illuminati’s Military Industrial Complex. By the end of the war THEY had nearly gotten to where THEY would have been able to fully control the entire planet’s population through religion, commerce, government and now unaccountable military action. The only real resistance they ever encountered was first when Adolph Hitler betrayed them and revealed his plans to eradicate secret societies from off the face of the Earth and later on when the warrior patriot General Patton tried to lead an offensive against the Communist Russians. Then when three brothers of their assumed Illuminati loyal family; the Kennedy’s, led by the oldest brother John or JFK, (after he got born again) and supported in secret by their father, Joseph P. Kennedy, turned traitor to the Cabal and worked to start undoing the Military Industrial Complex and keep the next war from taking place, these "troublesome" Kennedy's were stopped cold by way of assassinations for the eldest three with the third brother surrendering and becoming a useful puppet in the U.S. Senate after they threatened his life and murdered his girlfriend. Thus the Illuminati were responsible for creating the "curse" of the Kennedy family. On the military front, above top secret Operations like Gladio, Project Mantauk, and Project Paperclip built up and set the stage for future conflicts the Deep State would produce; shenanigans and repercussions of which we still wrestle with to this day.

These were the beginning of the darkest days of America. It is during this same time that Democrats began to take over the Welfare system in order to systematically enslave the Black American population (thanks to the Illuminati puppet President Lyndon Johnson). They assassinated the leaders of the good (or just counter) movements and forced all manner of national and local laws in a way that would ensure They had a whole generation of welfare dependent, Democratic loyal and mindless slaves willing to vote for Them in the future. They built up and took over all American National News Networks in order to brainwash the American public. They removed the Hays Code from the movie Industry which allowed for evil and immoral acts to now be filmed and broadcasted on TV. They removed all teaching and respect for GOD from public schools. They pushed the new Rock-n-Roll music on the young people utilizing the new TV broadcasting technology to do so. They started filming and propagating what would soon become the festering and growing Pornography industry. They also forced through Roe vs. Wade and legalized abortions nationwide which would quickly begin to kill 2,000 babies a day in America alone; other nations would sadly follow these vile trends. Then They pushed the Modern Feminist movement and placed Communist Professors in all Ivy League colleges and universities who would help Them in raising up a new generation of Socialist Progressive “thinkers” who would change the world in the coming decades. The Cloward-Piven Strategy was put in full swing by this time with people like Saul Alinsky, Howard Zinn, and Noam Chomsky were set up to heavily influence the next generation of Political and Academic leaders to favor Communism and Atheism. This was a very dark time in America and the WEST; though God did send rays of hope in the forms of the rise of the Christian School movement, the era of the IFB Sunday School Bus Programs, the far reaching and huge Billy Graham Crusades, and the Ronald Reagan Presidency. But with the next three puppet Presidents performing the NWO People’s every whim, (the Bushs, Clintons, and Obamas) all did seem almost lost by the time the Illuminati Endgame began with the World Trade Center attack on 9/11. A Great many things occurred during the morning of this attack that made the Illuminati feel that they were unstoppable. Indeed – for those who were paying attention at the turn of the Century – it seemed like all hope was lost; evil had taken over.
But all was not bleakness and darkness for long. The Illuminati had a leak in their perfect plan that they had not anticipated occurring; a way in which people would eventually become aware of the truth behind the scenes; GOD was working.
It all begins when one of the top Lieutenants of the Illuminati’s Grand Druid Council becomes a born again Christian and left the Cult at about the same time the darkness was in full swing in the mid 70’s: John Todd Collins. Being a high level Illuminati man (only the three Rothschild Brothers were over top of him in power and influence) he quickly saw that his new Christian brethren were horribly ignorant of Satan’s schemes in their nation, so John set about to educate the Church in the 80’s. And he was largely successful, which meant that the Illuminati began to work to take him out. First they got John to shut up by the time the 90’s were rolling in and got him back into drugs and depression, but after GOD used His loyal man Pastor Jack Chick to reinvigorate and revive John at the end of the millennium, the Illuminati went all out to get him under control. But by this time it was too late. Word had gotten out, the curtain had been pulled back, a crack had appeared and at just the right time. John Todd was the catalyst for a truth movement that would bloom and grow powerfully over the next few decades. He was a first hand eye witness to the mechanizations of this shady but powerful cabal that up till then few had even known existed.
It was now 2004 and even though the Illuminati had successfully killed John Todd, by now many others were speaking out. Others whom GOD had called out of the kingdom of darkness along with many avid Conspiracy Researchers, who – thanks to the newly rising technology of the internet – could get around the old systems of media control and now easily share the information they discovered to wake up and Red Pilling any who sought the truth which only became easier each and every day to acquire. The Illuminati masters tried in vain to catch up with things by starting rampant internet censorship and pushing their radical progressive agenda out as much as they could by way of their media empire and their mindless far left minions, but it was not enough. The Truth Movement was reaching critical mass. So by the end of the decade, They ran into a set of issues starting in 2010 that mounted against them to where their plan for starting World War III could not kick off as originally designed. The globalists pushed for several years to get their war going even getting a guru of the Truth Movement; Congressman Ron Paul to be practically thrown out of the Republican Convention in 2012. But by 2013, they realized that they had underestimated the size, power, influence, and growth of the resistance movement of the world. Thanks to Internet and social media, the amount of Red Pilled world citizens was unstoppable by this point; they literally stopped WWIII from happening in the fall of that year in Syria; a conflict that Obama was supposed to have presided over.

The Illuminati finally realized that their schemes were being thwarted on them, when they lost control of the U.S. Executive Branch in the shocking election of 2016. Unlike the upstart John F. Kennedy decades before, Donald J. Trump had a silent and largely hidden team of good military, intelligence, economic, and business agents working in all areas of the nation covertly to fight the corruption and put an end to the Illuminati Cabal once and for all; they were known as Q or the White Hats. That and the Truth movement of the world was powerfully big by this point; tens of millions strong!

It is now 2025 and the Illuminati systems are being dismantled and "They" are in full on panic and emergency mode fighting a war of retreat and defense against the Red Pilled masses who are in the hundreds of millions strong. The NWO is failing fast even as they still put out lies and propaganda through their many media and academic puppets. Though not as bad as the BLM and Atifa hot summers of the last decade, they still have their progressive army out on the streets rioting and attacking the American people [and Tesla vehicles] wherever they can. Their Communist agents work overtime in education and entertainment and our government to try to quell the red tide against which has fast become an overwhelming tsunami. Their end is drawing near. The age of the Secret Society and the New World Order is soon to come crashing down and a new age of Christian Conservatism and Libertarian freedom is on the rise! Though it may get darker in the years to come and as the end of this soft war rages, the night is always darkest before the dawn!

LORD willing our generation will see the final end of this 5 century old vile Master Secret Society and all its octopus armed branches of world control and influence as Trump and his team are swiftly mounting a deadly blow to the heart of the Hydra. Already the dominoes are falling; already the Queen has literally been removed from the board. The house of cards is collapsing; the end is near for them – and they KNOW IT!!! But a cornered monster can be most viscous in its attacks so the wise are warned and working to act in the defense of the innocent. Few yet know but GOD is already exacting justice through military moves and counter moves that will one day be made public. The Earth will be a MUCH better place for all to live come 2030 and beyond when all the truth is finally out and in the open. One day people will know - ALL people will know - just what a hero Trump and Musk and Dr. Ben Carson and Generals Smith and Berger and a great many others. Some like Alex Jones and Tucker Carlson are even now out on the front lines in this soft war while many others clandestinely and faithfully put on their uniforms and daily seek out and destroy human traffickers while rescuing wounded and sometimes dying children. It is a long war, but it is a worthy war, and one day it will be worth it all. One day the sun will rise on a restored Republic and a fully free people! MAGA!!!
